Just spotted the update on Impulse: -Added advanced glass support including new sections for SkinStudio - sweet! full feature-parity with msstyle hackers at last! -Improved compatibility with pre-release Firefox 4 and IE9 builds - nice bonus -Added new IE9 sections -Added support for per-skin custom colors -Optimized sk

Thanks for making it clearer KarmaGirl, I just felt that the questions needed to be asked seeing as we had no info on the situation. For the record, I originally bought the suites because I thought they are of a high enough standard to justify paying for, and I have a feeling that the Vista updates will also justify reaching for the credit card again... :)

After seeing recent news on MyColors, I thought I'd take a look and see which new themes have been released, to find that Omega now has a Vista-compatible release. So I checked the downloads for my purchased Premium Suites (I bought a few), to find that it is still the XP version! NOT HAPPY!!! What about those of us who have purchased the Premium Suites? I remember reading on the forums a while back that Vista updates were being worked on for most if not all the Premium Suites. Don't

I've just been playing around with the beta of Firefox 3 + Stylish, trying to make it look better with WB. I think I finally have a userstyle that looks good with the Diamond & Adamant skins. Please, check it out and let me know what you think. I might even try creating userstyles for other skins at some point... userstyle Stylish add-on
DeskScapes and IP don't have an update button, but are on the list.
I'm getting the same thing... Telling me there's an update, but not giving me the button to click... It's torture!!! X-(
Impulse reports that my serial # for my Object Desktop subscription is invalid. The serial # on the registration screen is correct and Impulse allows me to download and install the components of Object Desktop but that line on the reg screen is highlighted in red and has "Invalid" in the expiration date column.Puzzling.Magus
I got that too, but then I noticed right below it, that I now have a subscription for Object Desktop ULTIMATE with the same serial... :)

I know, I should be patient, but a month and a bit after the last build (which seemed to clear up the folder system attributes bug, but not the start menu one) we've heard nothing. Can we please have a progress update on what's going on? For me, this is a blocker, stopping me from using IP until it gets fixed... which is a shame.

Thanks for the response, guys. Glad to know it's fixed. I've sent an email to support, but I'll ask here as well; is there a way to manually restore the start menu associations? I'm making the assumption that you know exactly what got messed up, and hoping it can be reversed. Thanks once again.

So, I'm not the only one affected by this. While we are discussing, has anyone else had problems with IP/Windows Live Photo Gallery? I think I saw it mentioned elsewhere on these boards, that IP sets system attributes for certain folders, and that causes WLPG to choke, throwing out a "can't add/find this location" error. There is a workaround available via the command prompt (manually un-set the attributes), but I don't want to have to do this everytime I load a package. Aren't

I've run into a serious problem when applying packages in IP (current version) on Vista (Hone Premium), it is screwing up my app preferences. My start menu defaults have gotten messed up, I no longer get the second line of text for the internet and email items (should be IE and Outlook), see pic for what I mean... When I go into the set associations option, I get the following problem

I'm hoping that part 2 (2000-2003) covers a certain skin released in 2003 based on a browser that was born out of the ashes of Netscape... At the time, it even qualified for bundling with WB (version 4 at the time, if I remember correctly). My name has changed since then, but I've kept some sort of link in the name: DannyDPX Of course, whether I make any more skins is dependant on how easily I get to grips wit

Well, for me IP seems to mess up the associations for the Internet and Mail icons whenever I apply a package. Going into the default programs control panel shows the start menu shortcut for any browser or email app as "unknown application" I can only undo this with a system restore. And yes, I've tried this several times to be sure.

Don't you think it's about time that Brad & co thought about bringing back the poweruser.tv show? There's so many times I would have wanted their take on the stuff that has been happening over the past few months. Now that there has been a surge in content on WC, wouldn't it be great to have the colourful commentary of the show alongside it? I'm just throwing my thoughts into the mix, I'd like to know what everyone else thinks... Brad, please don't let my only entertaini
