I had exactly the same problem, so think its a bug somewhere but I did the save themes then uninstall etc and it seems to work because I can change individual icons now good luck

Welllll, as always Im apparently the exception. I was old when i got my first computer..since then i have built 3 of them. So much for generalties.
I vote for the much ignored Object Bar,possibly the most useful ingedient of the bunch. Desktop X is fun to play with but few are coders
