Well I was just wondering if it would be possible for WB skins to support the "send to tray" button. I use certain programs (eg. G6) that have a small button next to the minimize button, but that gets covered with the titlebar or sometimes pops out and looks odd since it doesn't conform to the rest of the theme.

Dunno if this would work .. but try it anyways : open windows explorer>folder options>use classic folders !!

Theory b applies to me. Well I'm not the artistic type but I am a lil' creative so I'll see what I can do. Any advice on how to make wallpapers, skin, etc ?

So how would one contribute to the site without having to pay ? Yes .. money is the issue here .... but since I'm confined to the two wheels of my wheel-chair ...... time is something I CAN part with.

I agree with what you're all saying. Buying the software wouldn't be a problem if I had the money ... some of us don't ! And finding work isn't the easiest thing to do when you're disabled like I am. Life's tough ... I know bandwidth costs are high and WC has to take these measures in order to survive ... but it is a shame that one of the few things that I could do for free suddenly isn't the same anymore.

Is the server really too busy ? Who knows ... or is a ploy to get into your pocket by forcing u to pay for stuff ? Well I've been frequenting this site for over a year now and I loved all the art shared here ... It became a religious habit to frequent this site atleast once daily. And now Stardock has just exercised it's upper hand .... the best things in life aren't free anymore.

Ah sheez ... i just deleted the whole sdplayer folder coz i got pissed ... lol ... I'll just use winamp .. i like it better. oh yeah ... where could i find the universe metal skin for winamp and icq ? I've looked around this site and didn't see them.

1. the player within a DX theme .... infact I just noticed that I'm gettin' a popping sound over the beats using the Stardock player ... it's fine with winamp. 2. I'll do that .... Thanks bud !

2 Questions ! in WinCustomize Talk WinCustomize Forums

Thanks in advance for whoever responds to this thread. I just have 2 questions : 1. I downloaded DesktopX 1.2 and I'm having problems playing stuff with the Stadock player .... sometimes the lil' icon aprears in the sys tray and it freezes. Any ideas ? 2. In some of the themes, I'm getting unclear text in either the player and/or the date and time. The text has some bright colored dots around it almost like it's got a disease. lol. Your thoughts ? Thanks again ! <
