Just an additional note... I rolled back to WB 5.51, and found the same problems with the oversized configuration interface and the misssing frames and title bars. -- LuDean Marvin -- -- "Speech-recognition in use. It makes mistakes, I correct some." Eric S. Johansson

Bebi Bulma, You may be flush with cash and can afford one at current prices, but I am disabled and have to live on a poverty income. The cheapest 22" monitor I could find is still about 200 dollars (including taxes and shipping) over my price range. Part of the problem with my own vision is that my eyes are so near sighted that I have to wear the proverbial coke bottles for glasses. The higher the correction for nearsightedness, the smaller the image created when it finally ge

Tigerlady.... You have to have telescopes for eyes if you can get along with 1024x768 on a 17" monitor. The fact of the matter is that there is a hell of alot programs out there that use hardwired fonts in many parts of their UIs. I honestly don't know what the programmers were thinking when they wrote them with fonts that can only be seen comfortably at 800x600. With the exception of changing the the DPI settings, these cannot be changed by any other setting in Windows or WB. While I

At a minimum, be able to navigate the rows of tabs in some way with tabs or arrow keys and be able to tab or arrow through the options available on the pages. Having letter key shortcuts you often see on Windows menu items would be most helpful. For example: Use Alt to activate top tier tabs and use left/right arrows and/or letter shortcut keys to select option. Use left/right arrow keys to scroll through the second tier tabs and/or use letter shortcuts. Use tab key t

I did see the equivalent in SS6. That didn't prove to be a help. The best I can tell, is that the height of the title bar limits how large the font can be. My attempts to increase the size of the title bar were a failure, too. The WB skinned bars didn't change one iota, but the old windows classic bars I could get to stretch to ridiculus proportions.

Keyboard shortcuts are an essential component of voice recognition programs. Without them, it is not possible to operate a program by voice. Are there any plans to introduce keyboard shortcuts into WB 6's Coonfiguration Window? LuDean Marvin

Braniac, For all of the the skins I use, I have edited the fonts to fit my eysesight. I quote my original post... "Many of the programs in Windows still have hardwired text that were really designed for 800 x 600 screen resolutions. At 1024 x 768 I have often resorted to the use of a magnifying lens to read the fine print." When I talk of "hard-wired" text, I mean text that is not controlled by WB or the advanced controls. Many of these windows that display the hardwir

Neil, Please check into the other bug I mentioned as well... the problem of no title bar or frame displayed around the WB6 Configuration at 800x600. It only displays a title bar momentarily when you click and drag the window from the missing area above the window, and then it promptly vanishes again. The rest of the frame remains invisible throughout. The title bar that does appear is the old windows classic version. I am using a Biostar nVidia GeForce 6800 XE, 256 mg DDR AGP video ca

Neil, The resolution you suggest is not available on either of my monitors. The nVidia card I have will create a pseudo resolution that is really displayed at 800x600, but requires me to run the mouse up against the side of the screen to scroll the unseen portion of the screen into view. That's not acceptable. For health reasons, I have to minimize keyboard and mouse use, and having to scroll off the edge the screen constantly will not help my already surly disposition. Anothe

This is really a feature request. There are those of us out here that require a larger screen resolution due to poor eyesight. Many of the programs in Windows still have hardwired text that were really designed for 800 x 600 screen resolutions. At 1024 x 768 I have a often resorted to the use of a magnifying lens to read the fine print. I tried using 1024 x 768 with the DPI increased 105% of normal, but some skins do not take this very well. Today I went back to 800x600 screen resolution both

Fuzzy Logic: The image hosting place had four different kinds of links .. and I had no idea which kind to post here. Anyway, the image you say you "fixed" isn't appearing in my browser. Bichur: Yes. I have the latest drivers. I've got a new card on the way now, though. Can't play Oblivion on the one I have now.

Sorry.. but no. It won't stay there after you reopen the window. That's what this whole thread is about in the first place. I'm trying to bring it to the attention of the developers that their program has an unacceptable glitch it it.

Subsequent to making that first post, I have seen several skins actually apply that way, too. To humor Zubaz here is my system post: WindowBlinds version : WindowBlinds 6.0 (build 36 x86) WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.
