I have the Same problems as others have noted here. Unable to get this game to run. No new Races..all the same as in Dread Lords..Not able to change Race..Not able to change character or ..view of the ..race. I totally uninstalled Gal civ..all three games, and then reinstalled. Same problem. Sure anxious for a workaround. Thanks
Question: Since I last installed beta version 0.98c[b].001, my whole data base on Arnor, is corrupted. I am not able to see any of the new cililizations beyond Gal civ 2, and most features do not work. Should I totally uninstall this game and re-load? or with the "Final" version, write over cleanly, to make this game playable, again? Please advise
Glad I stopped by the forums. Seems I am NOT the only one experiencing these very frustrating things . What with new M$ Woes, and everyone upgrading their softwear, only logial that this one needs some tweaking as well. I am to the point where the game(s), do not even load anymore. I was building lots of Constructor and Starbases with Influence and Trade,only ONE Military at the time. They wiped out everything..ALL Ships and Starbases then stuck around to take out any ships I was building, and all that were in Orbit. The Stongest ship in the arsenal was a defender. NO, they do not leave you alone, in your own space, even tho they say they do, and they took out ALL the Competition as well. Freighters, Colony, constructors..No difference..All were targeted. M
What are they good for? Absolutly NOTHING. Once you are infested, there is NO COMBAT, (Useless to try and fight)and NO BUILDING of any type of Starbase, by ANY Race. PeaceKeepers..Wipe out EVERYthing. Like Yellow Jackets, (Bees) they have no purpose, that I can see, except for ruining the game and rendering it, hopeless. Only thing I can think to do, is start another game, giving this one to The gods. Any suggestion? Better?..any way to at LEAST..have some Equitable S
