Well hardly fall here either, but tomorrow it sure will be, today is warm and humid, but the nice cool canadian air is moving in this afternoon, for fall lovers here tomorrow is a 10, high 60's, and we wont miss those constant late afternoon heavy duty thunderstorms which destroyed my garden (hail) this was the summer of hell with them, and now with football in the air, i just cant wait

Its funny but i kind of went thru the same thing, up all hours of the night, constantly downloading backgrounds, icons etc, changing and changing again and again, but after a while that slows down as you never get anything else done, now i have this addiction to MyColors,

ya know, a couple of my friends kinda said it is stupid as well, of course i told them your jealous, which is what it comes down to, put MyColors on his machine with the AMD theme, and well, that changed his mind of skinning, now he understands why i like to constantly change the appearance of my desktop, which maybe i am a little Obsessive Compulsive, but that is a good thing

for one, the page seemed like it didnt want to load, secondly, the arrows to move thru the themes, did not work, IE7 works just fine with it, i shoulda known not to install the beta as i have had problems in the past using beta software, think i would have learned my lesson by now, then again, boredom does bring out these things in me, i will just wait until the final release of IE8 but i couldnt resist trying it out

I installed IE8 beta 2 the other day, just to try it out, and what is weird is one of the few pages i had trouble with was MyColors, weird, anyway, i uninstalled it after using it for a day, it is a lot better than 7 but still has a few bugs in it, hence Beta2,

every once i a while mine does that as well, but what i do, is just restart mycolors, and just re apply the theme for a second time, and that usually does the trick, but it doenst do it to all the themes just a few here and there, other than that i have no complaints, other than my addiction to mycolors themes, is there a re-hab for this, addiction to MyColors LOL

well i will tell you, i tip my hat to people who make these skins, one day i figured i would give it a try, so six hours later, i sit back and look, and i really havent accomplished that much, so i cant imagine how much time and effort goes into making one, just pure dedication is what it comes down to

i recently quit smoking two packs a day at 6 bucks a pack here in Mass, so i use that money to buy my colors themes, much safer and it doesnt effect my health, but i do miss my butts, coffee, and drinking and smoking them while i use my pc

I have both installed, and since i put in my colors a while back, i cant remember the last time i used windowblinds, other than to make a "My colors" skin darker or lighter, or increase or decrease the opaqueness, i jokingly call My Colors lazy mans windowblinds, either way they both work and it depends how ambitious i am that particular day on what i am gonna use, but my colors kinda has me changing themes constantly, maybe i am spoiled, who knows but i love both of them

I personally think MyColors is just great, i have never had a problem with it, running Vista Ultimate, and now i have this addiction to MyCOlors themes, at last count i have purchased 14 themes, i think what i like most about it is one click does everything, as opposed to me loading a WB, then customizing from there, COlors does it for me, this new burgundy theme is spectacular, the colors are great, now maybe i wont change my desktop so much

Lets face it, negativity breeds negativity, i read a lot of these forums and for the amount of messages, the negative ones are few, plus the fact that sometimes some people tend to be "tough guys" behind a keyboard and monitor, i tend to be a very critical and fussy person, and Stardock, Wincustomize, etc i find them just great, if i have a problem i post it here and the response to it is extremely fast, and usually right, plus it is a great place to learn things you didnt know, and it sure beat

A quick one here, ok so i am running windowblinds (latest version) and MYColors (latest as well) my question is: i load a theme in MyColors, i want to change my wallpaper, MyColors lets u do this, but can i use Vista default way of doing it (right click desktop--properties--desktop background, will this cause problems or should it be avoided and just use MyColors to do it?? also, can i use windowblinds to recolor the skin,or lighten or darken it? even though it is done with MyColors??
