Pioneers are only allowed to build cities on locations which have grain as a resource. There is a button in the upper right hand corner that will reveal resources on the map.

Frogboy - I think almost everyone playing the Beta agrees FE has already surpassed E:WOM in every category. Are there websites that those of us who don't post outside your forum can help with? Bad News is sad because we really want to see what's next, but we'll be here when you're ready for our input.

I have been posting crashes including links to the requested files and so-far have been able to also include Save files which duplicate the crashes. I shall persevere and see how things develop. I was interested to hear that WoM (which I do not have) had difficulties with high-end machines though. Do you know what caused them, M'lord?
WOM used Pixel shader 2. This was

As for the AI in battle - why does a lone Champion insist on continually casting slow (Slow, Slow, Slow, then move to attack) when being hit by archers at range. Better to close and eliminate the archers that suffer deaf from many piercing arrows.
#1 - Tried to autoresolve a ba

Lord Xia - I understand what you're saying but it isn't going to happen in FE. The game is going to use Brad's story. They have said they're going to work on making the factions more unique & I'm sure they will. Maybe in the next game a wizard will open a portal and bring in some here-to-fore unknown races. Until then you'll just have to wait for the modders to give you the visual gratification you desire.
Well, 6 of the ten factions are white humans, what do you think?
Was that sarcasm? I know they haven't done as much as they need to do with differentiation yet, but surely you don't think that what the factions look like is the solution or even an obstacle to fixing the problem.

I started 4 games on "challenging" and only 1 game had a quest anywhere near my city. However it was a higher level quest that needed "recruiting" to activate.
A big issue I'm running into with 0.85 is the experience. It's too heavily biased towards the leader of the enemy side. Without more experience, you level up slowly. That's what 0.86 (tomorrow) will address. I can assure you, there's a huge difference when facing a cave bear as a level 4 champion versus level 2.
I can see why balancing game play is such a problem. .77 wa
