It will *not* use Impulse or be associated with Gamestop in any way, although the complete game for those who don't get it free will probably be available on various digital distribution platforms, including Impulse or whatever Gamestop calls it th

But in FE, a lot of these calculations are done in the background so we've been able to indulge ourselves. I am pretty sure that in FE, the path is now stored as a linked list rather than brute forced during the move like in WOM. I just think it's important because most companies aren't at liberty to divulge their own dirty laundry.
I agree with your POV. No, it's the "Climb Every Mountain" global enchantment. Causes all other Sovs to go climb a mountain, leaving their kingdoms wide open to your armies.

Yes Havenfall's mod's are highly recommended. I've used them & had no issues. The crashing problem is probably due to memory issues especially if you have a newer video card. Frogboy did a post about why using Pixel Shader 2, trying to be compatible with older laptops, created memory issues that turned out to be unresolvable. They've moved on to Pixel Shader 3 for FE so all should be well on that front with the new game.

I would like to play it during the holidays, but that isn't a motivation for them. I would bet serious gift card that the random maps issue will take them the rest of the year to kick.
One thing I will also say publicly is that it is our intent to someday go back and do a War of Magic 2.0 to give out to people who bought WOM.
Does that mean you'd drop the Pixel Shader 2 version and start over with Pixel Shader 3 like you did with FE? That would really be awesome. Sounds like you've got enough games planned to keep everyone at Stardock busy for quite a few years.
