This will be our first actual winter in about six years. From what we're being told, Maryland's winter will be a doozy, too. We've been living in Texas, and before that, coastal California. Funny story about the weather in Monterey, CA: we drove to visit family in Salt Lake City at Christmas. When we left Monterey, it was 55 degr

I dunno. I don't go to church, and I pay little heed to invitations, but frankly I would find it odd if someone cared about me, believed I was going to burn in hell, and didn't bother to say anything. Kind of my sentiments... expressed succinctly. Thanks, BS.<TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=center bgC

"Radiocarbon Dates Reveal That New Guinea Art Is Older Than Thought"--headline, University of Arizona press release, Oct. 12 I have heard of pre-historic, but pre-thought? Who knew that radiocarbon had any interest in relationships, much less gallery shows. How fruity! <TABLE cellpadding=8

*quits singing* I might be missing it, but I was looking for links to personal webpages. Do you all have personal pages? Famiy sites? Mine is below... but be warned, it desperately needs to be updated. I thought it would be fun to get to know you all a little better by exploring your personal "homes" on the web. So how about it? Anyone have a person

Congratulations!! Best of luck to you... sounds like a great family to me. I have three... all six years apart. They're one of God's greatest blessings to me.

LOL@lemonlime and LW. I have Norton's and love it. I wonder if half your problem isn't just spyware. I use Spybot Search & Destroy to eliminate that and have no problems.

I absolutely LOVE living in New England. I don't care for the harshness of the winters here, or the blazing heat and humidity of summer... but Autumn is that wonderful in-between time that makes it all worthwhile. We don't really have Spring here, we just have "mud season." New England is in its glory in the Fall, though. When I was younger, this was my favor

You couldn't PAY me to go back. Some of it I loved, some of it I hated. While I much prefer the person I am now, I also realize that I wouldn't BE me without all of the past experiences, so....... guess I wouldn't do anything differently. Just glad I'm different NOW.

((((((((((((((((((((Tex))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) I hate days like that. It's almost worse when there's nothing HUGELY wrong, but a series of small things. Whoever said "don't sweat the small stuff" must not have had it all showered on them at once. I don't know you well, but describing your day (and from other blog comments), I'd say you're a GREAT mom. My kids eat cereal on weekday mornings too. <img src="../images/smiles/smile.gif" bord

Wow... talk about information overload, eh? Don't know how I'd deal with all the news you have coming your way these days. I think my brain would have to just shut down at some point. I honestly don't know how I'd handle this. I tend to not hold one person's sins against someone else... but by the same token, if she IS still with him, and he's living with her children, then she does bear some responsibility for that. As you said, she won't be "dropping
