Exactly which recycle bin did you download? Was is a widget (extension *.exe) or was it a file with the extension *.dxpack? Provided you have DesktopX installed you should only have to double click on the *.exe and the widget should run correctly. If the file is a *.dxpack you might have to first run DestopX then change into the builder and import the object into an empty theme. Note that I think that you will need the full versio

I can't help you Tarkus, but I wanted to say that exactly the same with the exact same error message happens to me (since today). SDC has not been updated recently, so it is most likley an error with the site. Hopefully an admin will come accross this thread.

There is no need to remove the text (i.e. you can't remove it). All you have to do is to make your places list 60-70 pixels wide instead of 190 pixels. Also make sure you adjust the size of the Userpane on top and as well as the Bottom Bar. I.e if your Places List is 60 Pixels and your Programs list is 190 pixels wide, make sure your User Pane and Bottom Bar are 250 pixels wide and set it in SkinStudio accordingly. What version are you running? This was a problem with an older version, but has been fixed since. Before you installed OD-plus, did you uninstall the free Object-dock or did you install over it? Upgrade through SDC and it should all be working like a treat.

I am not sure what you mean with "I change the Bootscreen for XP and Longhorn". Do you have a double boot system with the Vista-Beta and XP? Does this error happen with all Bootscreens of just a particular skin? If the latter is the case I would just use a different skin and delete the faulty skin. I know what you mean Phoon, but for me, my activation 'gripe' is not just with Microsoft. I can't afford new software at the moment, but I heard about the new activation for recent Adobe products. I wouldn't like it either, and it really doesn't matter which company enforces it. To be really honest with you, I even don't quite like SDC and its activation process. I don't like that activation process. My copy of WinXP is 100% legit and I went through the new update process with no trouble, but I can't help it; I just had a strange feeling in my gut doing it.
