Being asked to purchase a key when I've used it on same PC for ~ 2 years. Is there now a yearly Subscription fee?

Been using fences for years, but I just removed it from my Win 64 PC. My wife did the same. With Vista and XP, the icons (i call them cows) stayed in their fence. With Win7 they escape theri fence so frequently, it has become unsuable. I'm not using multiple monitors - so that is not the problem It's not just game icons - it's any icon I just used - Iy has jumped out of the fence when I sxit the program I kn
