I remember listening to him while I was growing up. He also did the voices in a few cartoons. RIP.

I agree with Barb. Seems that people now a days have a different set of standards than we grew up with. That's why I stick to those born in the 40-50's.
I used to have box loads of spare computer parts just in case I might need them in the future. I've helped people from WC with parts and money with the promise that they don't say anything as I'am not looking for any praise. Being nice and helpful doesn't need a pat on the back. But as Kona will tell ya, I can be an ass. Hehe.. Sometimes for the fun of it and sometimes because I feel it warrented. SATA or IDE, who really cares.&
Theres a lot of us old farts on WC that served. Retired from the Army in 89. Just started wearing my NAM hat about 2 years ago and have had dinners bought for me from strangers. Brought tears to my eyes as I remember how we were treated back then. I salute all that served. [e digicons][/e]
Good read, to bad its to late for us. [e digicons][/e]
As a 60's child it was fun and costly. Those were the days.(California) Don't do drugs, smoke or drink(now). Damn, leaves a lot of money to do other things. [e digicons][/e]
Nope.
Lets see what happens when Comcast buys time/warner and AT&T buys Directv. I don't have cable where I live, its 4 blocks away with no thoughts of expansion. Verizon(non fiber optics), so my choice for TV is directv or dish. I have satellite for internet with a choice of a few companies. Hughes (the biggest)is one at $80+, I have one of the smaller ones at $41 a month. Charter is the only cable company that can do my town which they have done
Don't be old and retired in the U.S. now that obamacare is in effect. They want them to die as they are a drain on the system.
Just (finally) watched Pacific Rim on DVD. It was better than I was expecting.
Yeah, I agree, was surprised.
Oh well, I do watch 'Elementary' for 2 reasons. 1. Its ok and 2. nothing else is on.
Crap, they kicked Intelligence also. Damn, that was 2 show I liked and watched. [e digicons]X([/e] They did bring back one I liked but I don't know if it was just a fill in because they had a bunch made, (Unforgettable).
Crap, I didn't know it was cancelled. I to watched and liked it. [e digicons]X([/e]
Am using a 39 inch LCD and have no trouble except for dreams.
Hehe, thanks Wizard, missed a page. Glade Craig chimed in.
Yes, this does start to bring back memories of the good old days. Now to see some of the ones that just up and quit(ie Nighttrain and others).
Damn, been a while since I've seen Mike on the forum. [e digicons]:D[/e]
