You need skin studio and a paint program. (Photo Shop, PSP, Corel or some other one).
WOM
They take money orders. It will take a little longer but the wait will be worth it.
GoodMorphing: Why is it illegal? Never heard that before.
No I haven't had that problem.
Bill, This is the only site that I've subcribed to. When I go on line with MSN explorer they have a game site. I've played some and down loaded some that I liked (or thought I would like) and eventually bought them. I guess I'am still in the old mold of the free internet. I guess all good things must come to an end.
8088, 1mg of ram, 20mg hard drive, 13in color monitor,5 1/4 floppy and 3 1/2 floppy. I was running windows 3.1. Thought I was in hog heaven. I couldn't exist today. About $1500, 1990.
DavidK, I didn't like the programming field. It was to confining. I wasn't the desk type. Ialso got into the repair side. White shirt, tie and black pants. Picture that and on the floor fixing a stores computer and POS. Can you picture how many shirts and slacks I ruined just because the company wanted to have that IBM look.
I remember the first computer I used at home. I checked it out for 30 days at a time. It was a portable. Weighed about 30 pounds. Had a 4in screen, 2 floppy drives, no hard drive and I think 256 ram. I thought it was great. It was an IBM.
I forgot about the paper tape machines. I was in The service when I did that. So we didn't wear white lab coats. We wore uniforms. Early 70's.
Peff: I don't know those languages. But you can't get much older than Saal. If your under 30 you probably never heard of it. It was a first gen. language. Worked with key punch cards. You wrote the program, then you had to key punch the cards and the machine read in the code off the cards. Talk about dimples, chads and all the rest of that Florida presidential mess. Thats what you had here.
Damm keys. Thanks paxx. Got it right this time.
Thanks pazz.
Yes, with out overstating it, I think that rating someones work is an awesome responsibility. I try not to let personal taste play a part, but it is hard. There are some skins that i would give a 1 to so I don't rate them, and I download every skin and use it before I rate it.
GoodMorphing, I think it was Paxx or DavidK that had a criteria list that they used to rate skins. I wish they or whoever would repost it.
Back to my question. Why have a skin go thru moderation and get posted with a rating of 1,2 or 3.? No one will see it after it comes off of the newest additions list unless somebody takes pity a jacks it up to a 4! I've seen 2 or 3 walls and windows that way.
Lecrayon, if your skins get riped then I'am sure Jafo will deal with it.A skinner is a skinner, a rip is a rip. I don't know about uploading something that you have copyrighted. I know there are some uploads that do contain some copyrighted material from the skinner in their own skin. But don't know the legality of it.
Well I typed in wincustom.com a few months ago and got a skin site(real). Boy was I shocked. I was trying to show some little old ladies the site. Did that ever backfire.
Well don't worry. I cann't remember Fortran or RPG. Maybe about a month I could remember SAAL and with about a week or two of brush up I could be ok in Cobol. But it's been 25 years since I've used them. I'am out of that field now, I'am a mailman now.
Faramir, yes IBM 360-70, 360-125. RPG and also Fortran. But cocol and SAAL was me best. That was back in the early 70's. We also had a Burrows 6500. I don't remember any stand alone computers, just monitors and keyboards.
c242: Do you have your modem set for continious download!! Damm thats a lot of skins. Sounds like a full time job.
KarmaGirl: I think everyone has figured that out by now. Everyone on this thread is contributing in one form or another. The horse has died. Quit beating on it. Answer Mr Benn comment instead. You also have my money.
Thats why I didn't know what Dinsdale was. Iwas not a Monty Python fan.
AngelEyez: There are probably over 300000 people with an account here. Only a small group are skinners. The rest of us just like the site. We interact on the message board, comment on skins, and learn from the questions everyone asks. One of these days I might feel confident enough to upload a skin(as soon as I learn a paint program). I do have three(Corel, PSP and photoshop).
Thanks all.
