I hope no one took my post as negitive. I'am not a skinner nor am I a heavy downloader. I talk on the message board. I like this site, the people(for the most part) and the skins(for the most part). As you can tell by the icon, I subscribed. My point being is that I would be very careful with my money in subscribing to to many sites. I know the day of the free internet is fastly comming to a close. You can see it happening now. More and more sites charging a subcription. In the end, I think this will have a negitave effect. How many sites will one family subcribe to? How much can they budget for? I know nothing in life is free but money only goes so far. If all the skinning sites charge, how many will you be on! 1,2 or all of them. That also goresd for the game sites. How many will you be on? Something to think abo

From what I've seen, most skinners skin in 1224x768. So I think that that is the unwtitten standard. If they skin in a different res. they usually state so. I feel that skinning is on the rise from looking at the new skinners that has shown up on this site. Most of them (I feel) are the younger generation that has to have it now. P.S. Have you noticed that some skins are uploaded with flaws and are downloaded even after it is pointed out in the comment section? It is still rated high even thou it is flawed. Makes you wonder!
Lecrayon: A person can only rate an object once. So if you had 10 ones, that would mean 10 people rated you.(that should tell you it stinks). As T-Man said, some people could upload crap and it would download in the 1000's. So thats not a measure either.
migellito: No I do not feel that you shouldn't give a rating of "1". But to have someone go and rate a bunch of walls or windowblinds a "1" then something is wrong. I don't thing it was done for the right reasons. I also think that it should be manditory to give a comment with the rating. That way the skinner would know what was wrong(if anything) and can correct the problem. If the skin works and is complete, it should not be given a "1" because you do not like the color.
Sorry to here about your job interview. I went 16 months of being over or under qualified, but I was in my mid 40's. What a depressing time. Good thing the wife was working. Finally took a government job.
Glitch or no glitch, someone still had to rate everyone with a "1". So we still have a midnight rater.
Bug or no Bug I still think that if you rate then you must comment. It wouldn't take much to program that in . It wouldn't accept the rating if there wasn't a comment. Just my opinion.

There are some skins that I don't like, but thats personal taste, so I say nothing. Everyones taste is different, so why put up the puck icon because it dosen't appeal to you. That shows no class(in my opinion).
I wish WC would get rid of that puck icon. People spend a lot of time and energy making skins and to have one idiot that doesn't like something to put up that icon stinks. If you do not like something tell the person why. Don't just say it stinks and put up that puck icon.
