I'm offended when someone says there is no variety in our wallpaper section. To say that they are "samey" is a gross injustice. There are many wonderful artists who post their work here, and I am often astounded at the level of technical ability and artistic prowess that they display. I am a wallpaper artist, https://www.wincustomize.com/myskins.asp?AuthorID=194 and whether you like my work or not, you can't accuse it of being "unvaried". I am sure many other artists would feel the sam

AAh, I see what you mean now! As far as I know, that capability doesn't exist yet in Desktop X, and to be honest, I'm not sure that it really requires it. Could you explain further as to why you need a button to add a new object at particular coordinates, when you can actually achieve this using the current method? Or am I still not getting the point?
Was that the "other" girl's name, Griffinme? I don't suppose YOU have her number?
Lecrayon: I am one of the moderators here, and even I don't agree with lots of stuff that gets through. It is often very difficult to make a decision on a wallpaper, and I NEVER take that decision lightly. We try to keep the standard as high as possible, but all the moderators have their own opinions, and obviously we don't always agree. Personally, if i'm not sure about an image, I will comment to that effect, and the others will do the same, and the image's fate is then decided by a general co
When DX is running, right click the desktop, go to Desktop X at the bottom, then choose "new object", when the dialogue box opens, go to "Summary" at the bottom left, you can then insert exact desktop coordinates at the top. I hope this helps, if you need more info, let me know in this thread.
Cheryl: when WB is running, double click it's icon in the systray, when the settings box opens, click "system" at the bottom left, there is an option that says "prevent window blinds from running at startup". Make sure you UNCHECK this option. Should start automatically now. It's a shame you are not THE Cheryl Baker, you could have given me the phone number of the babe with the legs as a reward for help
David: Could be a British thing, I don't know if Bucks Fizz ever cracked the U.S. market. It's possible though, they were real big here for a while. Cheryl Baker went on to be a successful television presenter, but I don't know what happened to the other girl, or her legs.......*sigh*
Maybe Cheryl was using Litestep, and had Jafo's theme "Trekface"? That's all I can think of, unless it was one of those L Cars themes from Star Trek. /me drifts off with the other girls legs again........
I remember Bucks Fizz! Cheryl was very pretty, but the other girl had the most amazing legs! Man, I used to dream about those legs..................Ho Hum........what was the question? was it about legs?
Rachel: It may sound like a stupid question, but, do you have the WindowBlinds PROGRAM? If you don't have it, the skins don't work. You can download it here: https://www.stardock.com
You should stay logged on if you don't physically log off. when you log on does Windows ask you if you want it to remember the password? If it does, check the box.
Jafo: I wish ALL the crim's looked like your wife! She can climb in MY window any time.
And I mean no disrespect to people who have tattooes in general, but English people will understand what I mean.
There are lots of people like this all over the world. In England they are usually typified by an old Ford Cortina raised up on bricks in the front yard, and their fences are made from lots of old doors nailed together. And most of the time, there will be a huge vicious dog and a minimum of five snot-nosed kids who spend most of the day trying to throw old bicycle tyres over streetlamp posts. The father figure in these families is commonly referred to as a "Tattooed F--kwit". <img src="http:
Brilliant! I love it!
I despair sometimes....... I am going to refrain from commenting on this thread. Sometimes I just feel like I can't be bothered anymore.
/me is 45, and feeling every second of it today! (good thing I only look 25!!)
WOW!! Universe Metal is simply outstanding. Renato & Johanne, you have worked wonders!
Photoshop.....No contest. But that is only my opinion.
A good place to start: http://www.teamphotoshop.com/photoshop/tutorials/ps_tut.php Have fun...
OH NO!! Not nurse JAFO!!!!!!
Well Paul, I think you showed a massive amount of patience and restraint in that thread, well done sir! I doubt that I would have displayed the same qualities. However, I understand your tenacity as you are without doubt, right in everything you said. Stick with it, you're doing a great job! JAFO RULES!!!
Also Alex, you could have "A lull in the conversation", which is a little like a "Pregnant pause". Is it time for my medicine nurse?
Lull: a period of time when everything is deceptively peaceful, just before all hell breaks loose. Actually, Paul used it in kind of the wrong context, the saying really goes..."The calm before the storm", whereas you can have "A lull in the proceedings"....... I really should get out more......
