Was it a particular logon screen that caused the problem? (I hope it wasn't one of mine!) Sometimes, if the logon has been converted from a logonui.exe, it can give those kind of problems. Which logon screen were you using at the time?
BoXXi
you need to get the Window blinds program use the skins, you can find details here.... https://www.stardock.com
Don't be speechless! you deserve it. That is one hell of a nice skin. Truly excellent. SPEECH! SPEECH!!
Always a great read! I look forward to it every time. Thanks guys!
If the skin comes with a specific font, you have to install that font in your fonts folder for the skin to use it. I could be wrong though......... I usually am!
Winamp? Hmmmmmm............. Anything by Essorant.
No screensavers here my friend. Besides, who needs them? Modern monitors don't tend to "burn in" like the old ones, so they really are unnecessary. I don't have a single one on my system.
You could try uninstalling and reinstalling, worked for me when I had problems.
/me goes to look for her.............
Mike: your idea about new comments is an excellent one, I would really appreciate that feature.
I really like the site as it is too! The things that I would change are: 1. When I go to "My Skins", I have so many uploads that the page takes about 15 minutes to load. This is most annoying when you just want to check your skin stats. Could our skin stats be on the opening page like it was at the old Skinz.org? 2. Comments opening in a seperate window is also not a good thing. On my slow connection this little window takes an age to load. Could comments and ratings be on the same
EFX caused those problems on every OS I tried it on. I don't think it's even supported by it's developer anymore. (I may be wrong) EFX is an old program, and I don't think it really took off because Window Blinds did the job so much better. Good luck with making a business from EFX, I think you'll need it!
Happy Birthday Johanne, and thank you again for my little icon, I love it!
China returned for a short while, but seems to have wandered off again..........shame....
Nikos: I will bring this up on the admins message board, because I totally agree with you too. There has to be a better way of doing this. Leave it with me.

I don't see a problem Dave, it all sounds quite normal to me!
As Paxx said, take a look at the LogonStudio program, it's really quite easy to use once you have played around with it a bit. If you have any specific questions or problems, you can mail me here [email protected] and if I can help, I will.
Can I remind everyone that you can NOT use another artists work as a background in a DesktopX theme unless you have permission from the artist. I have just removed a theme from the site that used another artists work, (it didn't help that the image belonged to ME!) so I am reminding everyone that it's o.k. to use OBJECTS by other artists in your themes (that is what they are for), but NOT wallpapers or other artwork. We must respect authors copyright. Thank you for listening. <img src="h
Lecrayon: this should explain about people's titles etc. https://www.wincustomize.com/about.asp
I know what you mean Patric!
I tend to just use the airbrush tool set at about 8% and work slowly using varying sizes of brush. I also work with a large image and reduce it when I am finished. For instance, if I wanted a glass sphere that measures 100x100 pixels, I would probably make it at about 400x 400 and reduce it afterwards. If you work like this you will see any flaws more clearly, and it looks nice and tight when you downscale it. Works for me! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/boxxi.gif" border=0 A
Paul, See if you can grab me some goodies!!! You've got my address! Coulthard is my favourite! Have a good time mate.
