Hmmmm I was wrong. "Hand" IS a cursorFX theme, it must have been updated. I still think you should try another one though, just to be sure.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think that "Hand" cursor was made for CursorXP. I don't know if that is causing the problem you are experiencing, but it may be worth downloading a newer cursor from the gallery here and seeing if you have the same problem. CursorFX is usually quite problem free, and tends to play nice on most systems. Don't give up on it yet. Let us know how you get on, we can probably help you fix the problem eventually. :)
