I know this is an old thread, but still. I use Comodo Internet Security (Free) it has a firewall, anti-virus, and anti-spyware. To backup the anti-spyware I use Spybot to actively scan my PC. That is a combo I use on the 3 machines in my house, 2 desktops and 1 laptop. Hope this info helps. Also all the stuff I use for security is free.

Yeah, surf DeviantArt and look for uxtheme patch. But make sure you get the one for XPSP3 or God knows what might happen. Or maybe look at WinMatrix or Neowin Forums, I have not used them myself, but there quite a few 3rd Party Skinners that use those sites.
I would definitely recommend TweakUI like canmandeco did. I personally use it to change quite a few settings in XP and have had no problems. Go to 'Common Dialogs\Places' and you can chose locations from the drop down boxes but you can also type in folder paths to create custom links, for example if you want to link to your pictures folder on your D:, type 'D:\Places' and you'll get a link to it in the save and open dialogs. I hope this helps. http://www.microsoft.com/w
A little something from my gallery
If your looking install an alienware suite and don't have the programs (WindowBlinds, IconPackager, etc.) take a look at this: http://www.alienware.com/community/alienguise/theme-manager.aspx It should give you a locked version of the programs mentioned which only allow you to apply the AlienUI themes via the Thememanager. It's perfect to get the Alienware theme you want for free without using dodgy copies. I used it alot some years back. You can also use it if you hav

Just did it and it worked. Thanks for the help.
You all are interprutting it in the wrong way.
If that'd the case, then this statement is what was unneccessary:
All software only compatible only with 32 bit operating systems and XP needs to be either upgraded or discarded entirely. Cavemen (XP users) need to eventually upgrade their stone computers.
IMO
Thank you very much for the information. But how do I edit my submissions description without having to re-upload them, and also in the description field you aren't allowed html so how do I put a link in there?
Excuse me but, cutting support and applications for 32bit windows and xp users, just doesn't make sense when quite a few people don't have Vista; for whatever reason that maybe. I have an install disk, but am very comfortable using XP at the moment. And like angus said, suggest, don't demand, people will listen more, common sence should tell you that.
Thanks for the quick reply. The reason I asked was that 2 of my recently uploaded submissions only appear in my personal gallery and not in the public gallery, can people still see them if they look at my personal gallery?
I just wanted to know how do I get my submission to show up in the gallery when I search for it? Or does it need to be downloaded a certain amount of times, or something similar?
