Can anybody tell me how to go about using 'WMI'? Or maybe give me the source of a gadget to learn from?

Hi, I'm sort of new to desktop x and have little knoweledge of jscript. I looked throught the performance meters 2 for a source that would return the signal strength of my network but I can't find one. If anybody knows which source or another way to find out the singal strength, it would be greatly appreciated.
