I know how you feel. On my way to work today some jerk ran me off the road, I had two choices, let him hit me or avoid it. I choose the to avoid an accident, ran up on the curb and blew both my passenger side tires. The guy that cut me off just rolled. I called the cops, they laughed and said next time let him hit you. No car contact = no fault. It cost $42 for a tow, $80 for two new tires and a front alignment. And I lost about $200 by not making it t

The webite will not let me "edit" a comment. Every time I try it pops me to an error page. Opps, was that rude? Should I not point out flaws? Maybe some pictures will ease the pain. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Tongue.gif" border=0
Remember to use the emoticons Sorry, I use the English language to express myself.
I wasn't rude. Maybe your perception is a little f'ed up.
I think perhaps there's a discrepancy between your intent and and its perception by Joe Public. That may well be. It wouldn't be the first time someone took me the wrong way. <TD class="mb-Body-Quo
And Jafo, yeah your link proves nothing except the fact that I pointed out a flaw, offered to take screenshots, and did things like thank people. I'm such an asshole.
First off, where in my first post do you see a request for assistance? I was merely pointing out something odd that I found WB doing, if you don't care, fine. I won't post anymore. Secondly, if this is how the so called "community" is going to act you can have my account. And lastly, don't think for a minute I will "turn the other cheek" and allow someone to "talk smack" to me and not have that confronted. It's not in my nature.<b
GraffiX-MajjiK was a putz. A few members of the community dismissed the request for help becuase of said behavior. WTF are you talking about
Screw you guys, I'm goin' home
Finally captured another issue with WB. Note the fact that you can see the open window through the non-transparent start menu. http://img483.imageshack.us/my.php?image=untitled5sr.jpg] :SURPRISED: I DID NOT alter this image in ANY way. It's a straight prt scr to MS paint.
Well Hankers, ya gonna fix this now that you have my sacred system info? I didn't think so.
Scorpio: that may well be... Too bad I don't have a second PC handy. Also, I haven't tried messing with SKS since the update.
Just changing the taskbar from locked to unlocked works too
It lets us see if all the files are correct etc. I get ya, I meant no disrespect. WindowBlinds 5.0 System Information Report: STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ TRAY+ WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC. WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC<br
If you can post that here it would help. How would that help? Who are you anyway?
This is one example of a WB painting issue. Note the taskbar, the black areas should be transparent, displaying the wallpaper. This is one that's less critical IMO, as I only see this particular issue after exiting a game. More than likely just having a problem taking back the GUI from the game (no game in particular, does it with a few). The only solution I have found is to reload the skin. I have found a few others, will post screenshots w
Is this the beginning of WinMac, or Macdows, Wincintosh...
It's possessed Any split-pea soup gushing from the floppy drive? LOL, that's some silly shite. Poor guy needs anti-spyware and you got him running for a priest.
Stardock...hiring??? Link 5th paragraph TX, I'll check into that.
As a side thought, if Stardock needs some "help" with all the stuff they have going on, and in their words they are spreading it thin, I live a state away and will glady relocate if given a job. I have too much free time as it is. I have ample qualifications and have been a PC junkie since about '92. So experience isn't an issue. Either are certifications. Stardock...hiring???
Thanks Craig, at least one person here has used this software and has somewhat of a clue as to what I am talking about. As an example, I just got back on my PC from a cold boot. When I get to desktop, WB isn't loaded at all. I have a plain classic. I have to reload WB to see the current skin. This has been happening since before the update. Sometimes WB just doesn't load. Taking a screenshot of it won't help, it will just look like I unloaded WB.
Have you tried starting half a dozen threads in the forums? That sometimes works. Have you ever tried using a website that doesn't respond correctly?
I will take screenies. I have seen since the update... 1.Windowframes not painting and using the generic windows skin. 2.Start menu displaying trasperancy when there was none, or it was open windows displaying OVER the start menu(not sure which) 3.Shutdown dialog displaying the transparent parts of an image which should be invisible. These are random events but I will try to "make" it happen and get screenshots. Mostly n
I'll put together a package. You got an email I should send them to?
I have noticed, as I am sure most have, that Windowblinds fails to paint the GUI in allot of cases. I was hoping a new version would fix it but, it hasn't. Things like, window frames not painting when a non maximized window is scaled to full screen size. On occassion after a boot or reboot there is no skin applied whatsoever. I haven't worked o a skin in awhile, I'm almost afraid to see all the SkinStudio bugs still present. It's for these reasons I ha
