Mankind + Animalkind + Plantkind = Worldkind hehe. We all share the same home and of all 3 alot of times think we (mankind) are the infection or pest as we above all others destry the planet for all kinds. I may sound weird but can't help but fear what we have done and continue to do to the Earth that houses us all. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered by Ski

...its the "for the sake of sport" I dislike anyway. One thing to hunt and kill an animal for food another to hunt a deer just cause you want its "Rack" on your wall. Fuzzy Logic: Its not that we have barely evolved more like we de-evolved in the Conciuos (sp) while evolving intellectually since at least way way back man understood he was part of something larger. Now we have the arrogance of we are the only thing on planet with religion and our religion says we own and can kill anythin

Well I've always took a sort of CS Lewis "Chronicles of Narnia" look at things. At one point in one of the last books the Jesus figure (Aslan the Lion) says something to the effect of "Whenever you do something with right and goodness in your heart no matter the name you worship you do it in my name and anytime you break your word or in malice even tho in my name you do it against me" to a good person from a land that didnt know Aslan. Anyway sorry if was ment to be private converse.

agreed Feline. Its easy to see if its going OT and steer it back as well if its needed. as for my "Free WB" poster comment I don't advocate name calling but they do amaze me asking here and should be discouraged.

well the idea is that fragmenting will slow you down after a while as the computer has to go all over the disk to get the bits that make up whatever file it needs. Defraging puts the files into one continuous peice so computer doesnt need to seachthus speeding things up. What I usually do is intense defrag with DK then use MS Bootvis to optimize boot time as what that does is it see's just how the computer calles the diffrent files at start up and fragments them in order of how the pute

Have DK now and about every 2 wks or so. Used to use norton and swore by it due to its speed but with the last few versions, about the time ME came out, they cut stuff from the suite like a reg cleaning as I recall and it was to the point that the last version I used was as slow if not slower than the built in one of the OS. DK isnt fast but very very thurogh(sp jafo?) so I like it. <img src="http://images.sta

actually thought of another place , growing up, that used to have good fries. Way back in the town my folks settled in to retire was an old Walgreens that had a dinner/counter section and they made some excellent fries and shakes (think afterschool treat) that was many many yrs ago tho and doubt, if any were still in business, that they'd be as good today. well I think, but not sure, that the few times I've gone a tad OT it was in a thread discussing it, the issue or a related issue to it, so maybe I havent actually done the deed and glad they do see a diffrence between Hijacking threads and natural drift which was my concern was all. Of course those asking for free copies of WB I think DO deserve to be hijacked, beaten up, and forced into small tin cans and buried deep in the ground but thats diffrent. Just Jess <A HREF="http

think part of problem is some of us, myself included, sometimes toss in an off the wall comment when we post to lighten things and then someone else focuses on the comment instead of the thread and responds to it instead of to the thread and as an aside to the comment. As a rule ppls questions usually seem to be answered within a few posts of a thread start so didnt realize was such an issue and to be honest sometimes the reason I DO enjoy this board is how the occational tangent takes off but i

well hopefully someone can tell me what Im doing wrong concerning applying the updated version to fix my OE bar but as an FYI with the CursorXP theme "Stealth" if you enable hue shift 245 and Bright 12 Contrast 4% I get a almost perfect match to the gold of this theme.

not sure if doing something wrong or what. I saw you said updated so I switched to toon, went to wb and deleted the theme redownloaded and applied it but still black bar in OE. did I do something wrong?

only prob Ive run into and not a biggy is in OE. If you display the outlook bar the background and the text under icons is black so it actually looks like just unlabled icons not buttons. When I hover over em they show as golden buttons and can read the text. Not a biggy for me as I already like it too much to switch back now hehe but thought would mention in case its not just my system

well I'd seen some other articles about them looking into using the powerlines but wasnt aware they were using it anywhere yet. Unfortunatly the article is rather lacking in details tho so cant really tell whats what. No names no details of cost no info on various speeds and such so for me its really just a teaser thing. Still think its a cool idea just wish the article had more meat to it hehe Just Jes

Juno was one of the names I heard of too as far as being propritary(sp) on their connection sw. To be honest tho so many decent inexpensive ISP's that do provide good service/cost ratio out there that I truly dont understand why Ad serving ISP's are still so popular. Think I'd go insain if I was force fed ads all day while online hehe. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle

at one time I was told in the SD NG's they were going to look into adding something, or bringing it back not sure which now, so that when you change desktop size things like toonxp DX bar stays together instead of being piled ontop of itself when you change rez.
