This is what Windows 8 on the desktop should have looked like.
It has a lot of elements that I am seeing in chrome and other Google stuff right now like G+. I like it. I've tried out a few Metro interfaces that are out there that you can install on W7. Metro has it's merits, but it seems to me it's geared for touch screens. Touch screens seem nice and all, but like my droid, how the hell do you keep the screen clean all of the time. I've sp

I need to adjust the Start Button so it doesn't get cut off on the small icon setting. I may end up going with neone6's suggestion and use his button instead.Harley animated the button for me but it doesn't do what I wanted. Not his fault, I just didn't know the limits to animation. I also have to do the grippers and arrows and stuff. [quote

I believe I have it fixed. I've spent way too much time on these buttons. I want to move on, fix the issue with half the start button vanishing when I use the small icons and keep going. It may come down to trying what I originally created for the buttons. I'm just not happy about it because I really like this design and am using variations of what neone6 came up with through out the blind. I think the whole 'icon' thing is throwing it off and ruining what is a go

I need some real, honest feedback on these taskbar buttons. See the screen shot below. To center the icons, they are stretched out. There is an example of the actual button There is an example of the button not stretched out as much. If you look at the actual png image (ACTUAL BUTTON) hopefully you can see what I am trying for. When it is stretched out, you lose the whole effect. When it's not stretched out as much, it's too
