Dealbreaker question: Does the music library recognize the 'Album Artist' and 'Track Artist' ID3 tags as being two different things, and which does it organize with?
This has become a dealbreaker for me as well. AFter screwing around with several media players (SOngbird, Winamp, KPLayer,..) and several music managers I've finally settled on MediaMonkey. It handles the tagging, artwork, and all the ID stuff very w

I'm having issues with the taskbar. I thought I had it all tweaked to upload and start the thread but I saved the WB wrong. Trying to get it back to what it should be.
Greetings! Sorry for the past few days and being sidelined. Tonight I finally started feeling focused and more like myself again. Saw the doc on Monday and the ball is finally rolling and I ahve some small measure of control over my pain after four months of having nothing at all. I'll be on tomorrow and we'll start the next thread. I hope you're all (even the lurkers) still hanging in with me,
Still dealing with medicine head. I've been without for so long I'm all kinds of loopy and sleepy. I did get out for a few today. No more having to hide and deal with assholes following me with cameras. It's no fucking wonder insurance rates are so high when you look at how they spend their dang money.

I'm working on it . I spent a good part of Thursday being heavily medicated on an IV drip and Friday still feeling the effects as well as a massive headache from it. Just trying to get the cobwebs out of my head today. The good news is that as of Thursday all the BS I've had to go through for the past four months is over. I have my first Dr. appt. for Monday and hope to have the surgery scheduled for my back and brachial plexus within the next few weeks.
Nicely done.
Tim will probably find 50 things wrong with it, but for now it works. The image and margins for the side stitching is ridiculous and more or less a 'WTF' when you look at it in SKS. Kinda like the guy in the wallpaper.
Of course, then all your layers will have to be 2 frames.
OOPS. fixed it. [e digicons][/e] Forgot to set the first two texture layers to '2 frames'.
Looking very awesome Po. Going to be a challenge with the graphics though.
Yeah. I'm tweaking stuff that I don't really know how to or where to start with. It's interesting. I have to walk away from it alot to clear my head. I did get the buttons in which I really had to tweak and as you can see, am not quite done with. </
I think this may be what you have posted in the 4th one, but not sure.
Yeah. The image with the gray in it is the same as the transparent image. The gray is for this thread only, so you can see the dimensions and layout. I didn't use the gray, just the png with the stitches on a transparent background. Going across, those are the 5 attempts, the 6th being the stitching image at the bottom, which is two fram

I have the taskbar texture issue worked out. What I have to do is tweak the images in PS to get the colors to match the original taskbar. (See image in #251) The stitching...geesh. This is the base layer for the taskbar. I've tried several different approaches in applying the stitching. One single stitch tiled across ~ It runs right up to the edge no matter how I change
FYI - We are working in the background. Next up is the taskbar but we hit a bit of a snag with the texture. It may possibly have be fixed but needs some tweaking. I'm trying textures for the first time and kind of learning as I go.
Bare bones can be the same as building it yourself. You can start from scratch or get kit. Here's a short description. LINK

Good morning!
That is beautiful, Po!
I have to give credit to Tim for the whole search mode section. Not that I would have known how to skin it, but I missed it completely when I was pre-making all the parts for the menu.
At this point, your Search Mode panel will still be 'off' but you should be able to see your windowbitmap at work instead of the white background. What we need to do now is edit the text margins to fix this. In SKS - Edit Start Menu and Taskbar > Search Mode Top > Text Margins tab Set your margins as follows : This will &nb
Open SKS and select Edit Start Menu and Taskbar > Search Mode Top > Image Tab > arrow next to 'Edit' and import your Search Mode Top image. Then, selecting Search Mode under All Program s in the same window, import your Search Mode Image. Save and apply. These two images, as you can see if you make an entry in your search box, cover the start menu from the top all the way down and just over your All Pro
So, now we're going to import the Start Menu Search Mode sections. ( Images are available in the Graphics Gallery ) There are guides in the image file to assist you in slicing it into two parts for SKS. ***IMPORTANT - Prev
