OK, so I get hacked, I loose passwords and pictures. I install a firewall, NOW I can get to the main page here at WinCustomize, but if I click to say Message, I go to a sign on screen and it will not take my password. I feel a need to post to this and I am NOT a part of Wincustomize in any way. Just a user that loves the place and the people putting out fantastic work. Being in the IT set up and configuration world for many LARGE web sites, I can tell you this, if WinCustonize did not have site lic's for all the SW installed, they would have shut down long ago. MS has many different tools that they can find sites that are running sw without the fees. StarDock and WinCustomize are on the up and up, mo

When friends and co-workers see my notebooks at least the ones with XP on them and see that I have three different user's set up, AND all three are set up with WB's, Winstyles THEY GO APE,,, "where did you get that, how did you do that." etc.... I show them Wincustomize and tell them to get their money out and have fun. SO, is it growing, YOU BET YA.

If you like the person or not, e-mail bombs are nothing to smile about. They can, CAN bring nothing but nasty things to people and sites. I have seen first hand what a bomb can do to a site, it took three days/nights to fix it.

Please do not think I am saying ANYTHING bad about ANY make of notebook, BUT working in a REPAIR center that handles ALL makes through lease work. ALL MAKES break down about the same. You get lucky, you don't. Sony, Toshiba, Dell, IBM, Compaq, NEC, ACER............... If you get one like Doreen or I, then you are lucky, the rate of IFFR "In the field failure rate" is about 5% on the big four. Dell, IBM, Toshiba and Compaq. They are all good systems. I wish you the best in getting what you want.

Treetog, I ONLY use notebooks, and have a IBM T22, Dell I3700 and a Mac iBook "ICE" and am in the market for another. Toshiba's book is just fantastic to the point that I am selling the Mac and Dell to help offset the cost of the Toshiba. So what does this all mean to you? I have friends that have both of which you are looking at. AND the Toshiba is my choice, it is one NICE/FAST/GREAT VIDEO/Great everything. IMAO. Poddytat, Logica WB does support XP with all features. Been using it for months. If the XP features do not work for you, check to make sure you are NOT using Classic menu. If that does not work, mail Treetog, he will help you out, he always does. He is the best. Mike
