does anybody knows if william bart and bbx studio still around? in Community WinCustomize Forums

Hi, more than a year ago William Bart (the one of famous BBX studio) was working around a couple of innovative skins... I know he works for MAC, but every time he release one of his beautiful skins there are always been portings for XP (on WindowBlinds, but he and his skins seems to be vanished in the air, the bbx studio site result in costruction since 2003 and I haven'y seen anyone of this works (It seems to me that one is named Miraikane or somethin

Yes now they've changed the name of the link from Alpha2 to Beta1, but if you click on it it's still named 075 as the Alpha2... Anyway who can tell us the truth and the differences from Alpha2 and Beta1? (I can't see no one changes list....) Thanx Bye

I'm going to guess that this happened when/if you installed 'Icon Developer' thru SDC and it changed your icon manager back to XP. Un-install it and see what happens......... I'M NOT SURE TO UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'VE TOLD: NEVER INSTALLED ICON DEVELOPER AND DON'T KNOW WHAT IS SDC... THE ONLY THING I CAN REMEMBER SINCE THE PROBLEM STARTED IS THE INSTALLATION OF NORTON SYSTEMWORKS 2004 AND THE NEW DRIVER SET BY NVIDIA FOR MY NFORCE2

Have you tried checking your Iconpackager settings? YES, IT'S ALL OK,ICON PACKAGER STANDARD SETTINGS Make sure in the right column that 'Custom Files' is checked when you save theme YES IT'S CHECKED and yes, it doesn't works....

On the front page of Iconpackager are all the boxes ticked on the left hand side in the include box? YES Rebuild your icon cache again. DONE IT TONS OF TIMES Then I restart and I found standard icons and standard name. The strange is that only documents and computer resources and all the icons under start return standard once I reload the OS. All the other icons remains modified. Tried: no way. Every time I reload XP I got standard icons. I've noticed that the problem is on the documents and PC Resources Icons and on the icons under the start menù (but strangely all the other icons looks in the right way, icons like folders, drivers etc. are all working good). I have a problem with Icon Packager: from a few days ago, suddenly and apparently without any reason, every time I apply a package all seems to works correctly, but once I restart XP I find that they're not applied. I've tryed to uninstall Icon Packager and reinstall, but it won't work. At every restart the icons return to look the standard way. Any Ideas? Thanx Bye

Sorry, I've tried to delete this skin and redownload it several times, with no result. I cannot see the top of the panel, where is the user icon pic. I don't use DesktopX nor ObjectBar. I only use WindowFX and I've tried to unload it with no result. Also this strange problem is only with this skin. If I try to put on another skin it works normally, I can see the top panel the user icon... everything. The only one that doesn't work is Graduate. Any ideas? Thanx Bye

Yes of course, my words did not want to be offensive of Treetog in any way, I consider sincerely Treetog one of the best skinners and indeed one of my favorites ever (half of all the skins are by him), nor I think that my modified walls are by force deserving (after all initially I didn't even thinked to post them for the public, I made them only for myself) especially compared to his great works. 4 days ago I've made a screenshot based on the CopperDeck II theme from Treetog. In both my screenshots there's a modified wallpaper that people begin to ask to me. Initially I've made those wallpapers only for my personal use, but seen the success that they have met I thought to make them public available, so I first send them to Treetog to ask his permission, but Treetog didn't answered at all. What I have to do? Upload them the same, don't upload, try to recontact Treetog? Thanx

No I don't think so, 'cause I've ever seen it all for years and 'cause I see all the other things, instead if it would be bandwidth sometimes I shouldn't see sometihing and sometime something else, not always the same two things. Consider after all that I'm not the only one, and we both don't see the same two sections... too strange... Sure that there isn't something that doesn't work right on the server? Bye
