Ravynmagi, Yes, you can change those images on SkinStudio 6, open the skin and go to the section Edit "Explorer / IE shell parts > ListView >> Selection image" That image have 3 states: "normal", "selected" and "selected mouse over" "Normal" is normally empty. on "Selected" you could use a gray scale image and then use it colored for "selected mouse over" It's all up to you :)

"Text" tab section will move the user picture and user name (when on XP) as a single unity, then use the settings "Horizontal Text Shift" and "Vertical Text Shift" to move the text only. You can use negative values too.

Extra Tips: 1 - Always leave a empty pixel at the end of the shadows when slicing the skin frames, this will help to prevent painting problems (blur and transparency problems). 2 - Frames have dimension limits too, if you experiencing strange problems and your frames images are too big or too small, try change 'em, may help too. 3 - Per-pixel frames now support layers (images that load over the base frame image), you can use it to make better

In my opinion, skinning have two sides, the quality and the fun, you need booth to not become a machine, it's all about balance the things. I've seen some people getting mad commenting peoples skins when they don't like 'em and you know, it's easier trash than give a constructive advice (sometimes they can get you wrong and take the advice as a punch) One thing we can't forget is the freedom to create and upload what we like/want, of course you will not like everything

Hello tridy, Looks like that happening cause that program you're using have some hard coded parts, this mean that it's ignore some skinning aspects and use it's own setting (like that text color). In that specific case, you set the background as black and the text as white, the combobox use the same color from the window text (white as you set) and have it's own background graphic that is white then you're having white text over white background.

The buttons states are: 1 - Normal 2 - Pressed (when the start panel is showing) 3 - Disabled (not used) 4 - Focused/mouseover 5 - Default (not used) If you add extra frames, they will be animation frames from the Focused/mouseover state, like this. 6 - Focused/mouseover (aniamtion frame 2) 7 - Focused/mouseover (aniamtion frame 3) 8 - Focused/mouseover (aniamtion frame 4) 9 - Focused/mouseover (aniamtion frame 5)<br
