It's almost impossible to make a non recoverable skin because there is a method that will add a plain colour on top of the original graphics, though the default method will try to change the hue. Anyways, if you create a monochromatic skin, it's harder to recolour, grayscale even harder.

neone6, That's the tricky part about skinning, you have to do your best to balance usability with looks. Right now usability is harder to get around since touch based devices got very popular.

hcour, You can change that at: "Edit Menus and menu bars > Standard menu bars > Menu bar (notepad etc)" alternatively if the app uses the toolbar instead, go to: "Edit toolbar controls > Rebar controls > Background" You will need a graphic editor (like Photoshop or other) to change the images.

Hi, You can make the whole UI bigger by changing the DPI settings at the Display settings, set the DPI to 125 or 150 and WB will follow that. One thing to keep in mind is that not all skins will be compatible with custom DPI settings so you may get some small issues with those.

Hi martytx56, It looks like some of the file that control the skins colours are missing from the more recent WB builds, I'm working on adding the files back and they may be updated in the next coming builds, please check the updates and if the problem still persist, please PM me. Regard

Hi there RD, I just changed a skin here to test this and it worked just fine, I picked the skin "Modern", made his titlebar heigh with 35 pixels, added the buttons you mentioned to Explorer, undo, redo, etc and they are all clickable in here. Could you send me the skin via PM or mail? Regards, Dani

Hi LightStar, This is a easy one, this is because they are two different menus, the top settings are from the old skinning era, like win 98 and XP, since Vista Microsoft introduced a second menubar style, the one at the bottom of your screenshot. As I was explaining to another user early, you may know that SkinStudio let you use custom and experimental settings, this is a great thing for skinning, the problem is that not everyone k

diephoenix, As I said, SkinStudio let's you use custom settings, other than the OS default ones, the is is the beauty of skinning :) Anyway, I'm glad that the 6 states graphic is closer from what you wanted. Here is as PSD foil for this graphic, so you can change the colours of each state to get the right result you're looking for.

Hehe, I'm still a little lost in what situation the selections do not work as you expected but I totally understand that you're trying to a specific result that should be possible. I see that you're showing the selections with the classic UI now, gotta say that the classic and skinned UIs work in a different way, even the OS default skin. The thing is, WB will act like the OS skin in that part, not like the OS classic UI (not skinned). We ca

diephoenix, I was experimenting with the selection for you, SkinStudio is very versatile dealing with custom and experimental settings, I made that graphic with 6 states, the default are 3 states, here is a graphic, please put it inside your skin folder (Modern), open the skin with SkinStudio and select it from the image dropdown, change the "Image count" to 6 and then save and apply the s

Hello again die phoenix, You explanation really confuses me, seen to be something very specific that you're wanting to achieve but let me see if I understand better. I tried to mix the mouse cursor and the keyboard selection + the mix of the control key sand I got 3 different active selection states (without count the empty mouse away). Here is the screen: <img src="https://dl.dropboxuse
