re #32: I just tried logging out & had the same result-- the reloads don't happen if I'm logged out. I was using Opera 8.2 & never had this problem until yesterday evening after upgrading to 8.5. (didn't change any settings before noticing the reload issue.) Lanetec is right about upgrades!

I'm having the reload problem now, but didn't have it before upgrading to 8.5. A few minutes ago I made a post about it on the Opera forum. Will let you know if I find out anything more

There's not much you can't cusotmize or move around. Also, you can make all manner of buttons-- even buttons that open IE or Netscape or other apps from within Opera

I'm having trouble with it freezing with 3 desktops, too. Am fairly new & thought maybe my video card was too weeny. I'm glad this forum is here The other problem I have is that the screen doesn't refresh when I close aps. The images just pile up until I change desktops or turn off SVD

I'm with you, FL. The tt I want rid of are on the Start Button, Start panel & More Programs list. I thought maybe there's a WB or SkinStudio setting I didn't know about, but I always forget to ask when in here.

The substyles are not necessarily labeled in a way that indicates which is std or compact. Sometimes the name is alt, #2 (or #1). Other times the sybstyle has nothing to do with the Start menu. I always check all the styles in a WB. No telling what's in there!
