Cool! I like the idea of a more unique item to add instead of the practice sword! I'm bookmarking this page so I can have it when I start a new game up.

Wondering how to add the practice sword into the tech tree. I don't have my game open right now, but the tech I think the tech is called weaponsmith. It's the one that gives most of the basic weapons, including the dagger. Just seems strange that there are no swords at that level. I know I can use the dagger, but seems weird to have mounted people with daggers. I'm using Stormworld if that makes a matter. Anyone knows I can add this in for my ne
I'll say this, if/when you try to intergrate Stormworld, I'll be one happy camper! I love Stormworld and I can't see myself playing without it but your mod sounds so amazing that I want to play it as well. It's like having to pick between cake and pie... you want both, but can only have one :(
Yes to more DLC's! Monster pack, faction pack, unit pack (more unique traits for the units you design?), magic item pack, technology pack, completely different faction packs, etc. etc. I'm not big on the map pack, but I will buy it to support the developers and in return I hope they look through this and consider making more requested packs
Likewise. Mapack isn't big on my list, but I'll buy
Solved, just had to exit the game and load it back up to get my custom factions in the game.
Personally, I'd love to see a DLC that introduced boats/ships and continents. A monster pack sounds pretty awesome too... and love to see some new equipment options, new quests, and new traits and weaknesses for custom kingdoms and characters.
The collar is one of my favorite items to get early on. I usually try and get a bear or a great wolf or a warg. All of them make wonderful companions in the early stages, especially when you start with no companions close by.
Yes, when you create a new game, your opponents will be selected randomly among all the available sovereigns, including those that you created yourself. You can also select your opponents by clicking on the "Customize Opponents" button on the third screen after clicking on the "New Game" button.
I did make a ruler for them, the problem is that under customize opponents, the one I made doesn'
Curious if it's possible to make a kingdom/empire and then have it added to the list of opps that the game will pick from. I made a nice empire that I want to play my kingdom against but it doesn't show up on the list of options.
Every single turn based strategy game I play, I always have the same problem in it. As the game starts to move a long, one person decleares war on me and never wants to give up even though I've destroyed several of his armies with little losses. Then another person declears on me... then a third... then the fourth. It's no different here. I had a fun game going and and one neighbor decleared war. I went on the defensive and started beating him up as
Ok, so I had tried Sins way back when it was released and haven't played it since. I got the mass e-mail today about Trinity and thought it's worth a new shot. I'm rarely one to play a base game though (unless it doesn't have mod support) and so was wondering peoples thoughts on what mods I should look into. Right now I'm thinking just mods that still let me play the games story (until I get good). After that, the sky is the limit! I did see that Star Tre
So here I am re-installing the game and her expansions now that the new patch is out. I'm thinking up ship ideas in my head and thought about the fun of making my own starbases. I know that it can't be done normally, but I also remember Kyro posting a work around for this. I've been searching and found this.... "Starbases cannot be designed directly through the game, however if you design a ship then find and copy the shipcfg file for that design over one of the star
Impulse sucks, just for the record. It's stuck on Downloading Impulse update - Connection... and is really getting on my nerves because I can't DL the game until it's down updating itself. Not to mention the fact it's only showing TPM 04 and 08 and the gal civs, not the dozen other games. Imuplse sucks.
Problem I'm having with the fed ship set is that in the style selection it appears as the terran. When I enter the game the 3 base ships are from the terran style and the ships that appear in the template area of the shipyeard are terran. Kyle
Amer312, that's a really good question... what say you Frogboy? And thank you for coming here and letting us know the issues. Although it isn't what we wanted to here I for one am greatful to know why the beta was halted. Kyle
I'm totally shocked at the fact that we don't have the beta or have no heard anything from Stardock. This is new for them, they've always had good communication. So how about someone from SD looking at this and letting us know whats going on? Kyle
Funny you say that, Kyro. That's sorta what I did. In the opponent set-up screen I'd click on one of the core races and changed them to my race. The result is that they are linked. FOr instance, the Merchant Consortium where made off of the Korx... if I add the Korx the MC vanishes from the options, if I had the MC then the Korx vanish. It's a pretty good work around.
Anyone figure out a way to tell the editor you want more then 1 custom race? My game has my race and 3 others that are custom... but I can't use my created maps because I can only place 1 custom race in it.
Hmmm... crap? Oh-well, I'll just pretend for my AAR when I finally do my main game... have to pretend... it starts in 2860, alittle under 848 years after a astroid smashes into Earth... on December the 21st....
I'm sure this was totally overlooked... but as it stands right now you can only set the map editor to ONE custom race. I attempted to play a slightly adjusted version of the map dogfish has up for my human seperation game. I foolishly assumed that if a race is set as an opponant but doesn't have a homeworld set on the map one would be assigned and so I set everything up, made 4 new human races to add to the map... set the full load of opponents and... couldn't play because the onl
Excellent, thanks alot! Going to add it in when I get home from work and start playing!
I just did a full uninstall and currently doing a fresh install :) That does the trick, yes?
Anyone know if there's a version coming for ToA or if the DA version works for ToA? Kyle
This might have been covered elsewhere but I'm at work and not able to go and search for it. So.... Are any of the features/improvments from ToA ported to DA and to the base? I'm thinking of taking the weekend and replying the orginal and DA campaigns before playing the ToA campaign. I'm not caring if Terror Stars are going to be useable in the base game or anything like that. I'm more concerned with things like the graphics and sounds improvments along with the
Indeed you are correct, it was supposed to be the 23rd. Actually, the new release date is the 30th for the digital release. Only another 7 more days, so not that much longer in the end.
