bumping skinhit's comment: will the "awaiting moderation" feature be implemented again? Skinners put a lot of efforts into creating their skins, and not knowing what's happenning to a submitted skin (is it correctly uploaded? / Where is it?), is quite annoying. I thing this issue should be a top priority item. After all, we freely put content on this web site that allows Stardock to sell more applications, don't we? We even pay for a WC subscrption as well as for the

Upeters, as far as the navigation arrows are concerned, clear your browser cache, and this should do the trick (I had the same problem, and now it works after this little trick), for the rest...
You are welcome Dark one... I know by experience it's tough to find out all those bugs before "going into production mode"... Good luck with all that!
Hey Dark-Star, good to know! Just a quick update, I've flushed the cache on IE, and now I can see the "my:" section on the top of the pages, which is obvisouly good. I still can't see my "awaiting moderation" skins though, I've posted a CursorXP theme as well as re-posting a Toolbar 2 hours ago, but they don't show up as "awaiting moderation" in my skins page. Maybe a missing option with the new site? Okay, okay, I'll just shut up now...
After using the new site quite a bit now, I find it quite difficult to manage my skins (are there any new comments, where are the awaiting moderation skins, seeing their rating at a glance, and so on...) Let's be clear here: I'm not talking about the look of the new site, I'm just talking about gathering information easely and in a centralized way for my skins the way it was before, I don't care about the look, I care about efficiency, and this is clearly not the case right now (once ag
Thanks Dark-Star. However, I've noticed the "my:" section appears with Netscape 7, not with IE 6... ??? Moreover, with Netscape, when browsing a skin details, the relative position of text against pictures is incorrect, pictures are above text (and sometimes text is above text, well, it's a mess). I hope this will help you spot and fix some issues. Cyco
Good looking site, I have a few issues though: You can't see weither you have new comments for a skin of yours at a glance as this was possible before (the "my skins" tab). You can't see the rating for your all your skins at the same time (that was available before). How do you access your homepage (user.wincustomize.com) from WC home page? Can't find it! Anyhoo, it looks good, maybe a few tweaks here and there and it should be all right! Cyco
Thanks Jafo, it's okay for the IP, not for the toolbar yet though, I'll just wait for it to come out then, take it easy!
Thanks dragonmage, I've posted a message on this board. Cheers!
Hi moderators, I've got two skins stuck in moderation it seems: Sirius IP and Sirius Toolbar http://cycoced.wincustomize.com/MySkins.aspx?ACID=2043248&LibID=-2&p=1&s=10&d=1 Thank you for checking them! Cycoced
Hi all, I was wondering if one of you guys out there have the same "problem" as I have: I've submitted 2 new elements (on IP and one toolbar) more than 5 days ago, and it hasn't been posted on wincustomize yet, nor have tehy been rejected, so I wonder if they forgot to process them and if I should reload them again? Moreover, I've noticed that the IP has been downloaded by Snowman (when checking the "awaiting moderation" tab) more than 5 days ago, and since then, nothing...
Post #2 from SeldomSeen: "Also, somewhat related to (skin) skinning." Priceless! Still laughing at that one...
Thanks for the input boopish, this will help for sure since I haven't started working on the compact menu yet (fixed other things first). I'm also working on a new visual style right now, more 3D-realistic, yet without using any 3D software, only Paintshop Pro: I find it gives the icons a more "organic" look than rendered objects, if you see what I mean... Oh, and Diomenas, you've got mail...
boss0190, thank you for your input, I was not familiar with this substyle-thingy... I'll try that this week! I'll rework the taskbar as well, it seems to be a problem for most people, oh, and the Font too! Anyway, thank you, you may not create WB skins, but you know how SkinStudio works more than I do, maybe you should start doing skins?
Hi all, I've recently posted my first WB skin on wincustomize, and one of the main feedback/complain I get is the lack of compact menu. I just can't find in SkinStudio where to create it. Can someone plase let me know where to look? I'm kind of lost here... Thank you
Hey NightTrain, thank you my good man! Adding the PerPixel=1 in the code did the trick! I thought I would share that now in case somebody has the problem... Well, my WB skin is almost done now, a couple of days fixing loose ends here and there, and it's uploaded. Since this is my first skin, I just wanted to make sure everything was skinned and looked great whatever program one might be using, hence the long time.
Thanks for the advice guys, it seems I've got to dig deeper... Argh... I've stopped coding 5 years ago, asnd now you ask me to add lines in skinStudio's generated code? Will it ever end? And NightTrain, I can't download anything from the link you provided me. Thanks for the help anyway, this is much appreciated! I just wonder sometimes if I'll ever pu
Hi all, I've got this problem with my upcoming skin: I want to have a reflection on my window title bars (the per-pixel one). I first tried to add a glyph to the bar (with the enabled/disabled split TGA file for the reflection). It looks good within SkinStudio, but when applying the skin to WindowBlinds, the reflection doesn't appear... (I did the same thing with my start menu, and it works fine). Then I saw a attr
Oh, okay Z71, I'll try that for the next package I'll work on, thank you for the input!
Z71, what do you mean exactly? => Click on the icon to change in package builder, then click again and then change it? or... => Click on the icon to change, then change it, then select it again and change it again? I'm confused... (who said I'm dumb? I heard it!!!)
Yes, I get the same problems as you guys, which is really, REALLY bothering me... Another thing happening to me is that, when creating a theme, some icons get all "edgy" (rough edges) after saving the package. Not all of them, and for an icon, it may be the 64x64 icon that is edgy while the other resolutions are fine... When reapplying the icon, it may come back
