I dont think its good to relate the fleet to anything. Planets/Stars/Economy. Because it will always create more disadvantages between smaller and bigger empires. When you are just able to buy more by your own choice, but have to pay an upkeep rate according to your oversupply, you can always choose if you want to go for it or not. And also smaller empires can therefore overproduce, when they have the economy behind it.
I played a lot of huge maps too. 7 to 8 stars maps that i made by myself. But i cant agree to all the problems your are facing. My economy was never bad, nor negative. I had maxed Fleet Logistics, capacity and Commanders. In the time i had 5 -6 stars under control. i never came in money problems. I had tons of money, crystals and metals. @Diggz Its not about defending the whole star. Its that they didnt follow up. Even when i tell them to attack they just didnt care to follow when the enemy popped away. So in my sun had been 20 of mine, astroid beside 10 bomber. Not taken care of. And this could be easily done when they just followed up after i told them to attack. There is one problem i encountered several times, when im playing multiple star systems. I have one medium defend fleet in my home sun, and having some battles in the other systems i have to take care of. Now i see a fleet of multiple bombers heading to my sun. They arrive and my defending fleet starts taking care of them. And there are more than enough of mine to destroy them. So i let them do their job, because i have more important battles to take care of. A min later i loose a plane
About the fleet logistics It doesnt even has to be in relation to planets or stars. Just make it unlimited/ but negative rate. Means when you go over your max fleet supply you have overproduction, means neg economy. Means you start to pay for every ship that is over limit. Means you need a good economy to support it. If your economy isnt stable or rich enough than you have to get rid of them again. And for a big empire ( multiple star systems), i really think its needed. Be
SOSE is a great game. I loved it from the beginning. It got me hocked up right away. I can ony agree to the compliments written all over. And therefore i go straight to the flaws i discovered recently. After i got quite familiar with the game machanics i decided to make my own map and play big. So i made up 6 Star systems. Hello Quick question, will windows blinds, work on a Windows Xp tablet edition? As far as i heart the tablet edition is the same as xp professional with just some extras (e.g handwritting). so ia ssume it should work. If not would aprreciate your support thanks Chris
yes, the update changed the graphic settings back to 16 bit. didnt think about that first.
I solved it The driver update changed my settings.
Hello I was using the Arzo skin. Image: https://www.wincustomize.com/zoom.aspx?skinid=6127&libid=1 Take a look at the titelbar. It should ber glassy. Till today everything was fine. But since today my titelbar is not transparent any more. Just black. I updated my nvidia drivers. Might this be had been a conflict? Anyone has a clue how i get the transpaency back.

There is a new RC update. But im kind afraid of pushing the button. Tired it twice. Once RC on and once RC off. Lost my configs twice. I also have a backup copy of my RC. But i dont think it will be helpful after the update. Anyone tried the new update without loosing configs? And if so, how u did it txs

OK, but now i have the skin twice on my Drive. One in the "Docs" and one in the "WB install folder" which means twice the Ressources. That kind of bothers me. Before it was all in one folder.
This means, i can delete the skin that had been before in the wb install folder? Because right now it seems i have the same skin twice. And its kind of drive waste. Why did they make this change? I prefered the way it was before.
@Bichur TXS. That worked. Found them all and copied them back. Didnt know that WB is also keeping the skins in Documents.
Hello After updating to WB 6 all my skins got lost, duing to a moving folder issue. I have all my skins on a different folder, except these that come with the install. e.g Stardock skin (should be Diamond). I`d like to gte them again, but couldnt find them in Wincustomize. Is there any way to download? I also checked Stardock central, before there had been always a link to WB5 and its Skins, but since the update this link is gone too. Any clues? thanks

Finally find the way. Ultramon when using mirroring has some issues with some graphic cards. So for all who have the same problem. Just uninstall the mirroring option. And it runs fine. Even with windows blind.

Hi I just got my new system and im having now a dual monitor. The problem is the wallpaper. With windows or WB I never get it to look the way i want to. I tried couple of Softwares, but they had all been crap til now. The only good one had been Ultramon. The options and settigns work fine. But the big problem is (that a lot of people seem to have) is everytime i reboot my system after installing Ultramon, my Video drivers are gona, and i have a 6 bit display on nvidia 8800gtx.
