Hazel, You couldn't have been more appropriately named... your writing is right on Target. Seriously, you have an incredible gift. Keep writing, yours is a talent true and strong and sure. Thanks if you write a book, I'll buy it thanks again Moskowitz the Envious

So, then it's time to go out and make some new memories. I ache for your longing sadness. I pray there is sunlight where you are today, thanks for the writing, Moskowitz
Thanks all for the kind comments. I don't have the kind of face that would lend itself to a shiny pate. Shine on, Buddah
Thanks everyone. I imagine everyone who commented probably is a bibliophile as well as I. Keep reading! Nothing on tv is as exciting as an idea in a book. Buddah M
Thanks for the hearty support. the walls and bridges imagery is from a John Lennon quote. Neither of you are allowed to quit writing! YOU HEAR? thanks Moskowitz
D- I know this comes from a very painful place. Well written, though I'm sorry you had to go through this to get this fine writing. It reminds me of something I wrote called "Self-Help Book". Thanks for sharing, and I hope the fallout of this time is long past, Your mate, Moskowitz
There is a sad beauty to many of your poems. Ghosts are there to remind us of where we've been, and perhaps point us the way out. Great writing, thanks, Moskowitz
Stunned by the power of this one. The difference between an artist and a technician is the willingness one possesses to make oneself vulnerable; in short, the risks one is prepared to take in creation. You am an artist extraordinaire , Thanks for sharing your gift, Buddah the Moskowitz
You're the real thing. Great writing - keep at it! Thanks Buddah
I returned to the temple seeking God and knowledge it’d been months since I was there but that same cool embrace of air conditioning and quiet history welcomed me as though I never left and I found many ideas there perhaps too many for one lifetime but I marveled at w
Big laughs... my wife's making a year end slide show for the kids in her Head Start class, and they're including things their kids say. My favorite: "My mom says my brother is like a monkey on crack." I liked... heck, I liked them all. Thanks for the laugh Buddah
Nicely understated. Thanks! Moskowitz
Another great piece. I like the simplicity (or elegance) of your writing. You do not overwrite (my weakness). The way I read this, it was about an impulsive marriage that lasted only 90 days (which I could relate to). You're nerves are raw and your emotions are naked and your writing is a treat. Keep on it, Moskowitz
The comforting illusion is that each one of us is separate and the things that separate you from me are real where my skin ends and the air begins and where the air ends your skin begins is an elaborate delusion most of us see the world as a collection of disparate puzzle pieces but I’m trying<BR
Happy Birthday Jenny! - May you have the best year of your life (so far)! Buddah Moskowitz
There a fine control in your writing - never becoming overly sentimental or emotional. However, there is a strong, rich flavor to what you've written, and I think you captured the doomed feeling of some love affairs (at least, ones I've known). You've become one of the best writers at JU. I look forward to reading your new works. Sincerely, Moskowitz
I don't want to analyze scantion and symbolism Hell, I had to look up what "scantion" [sic} meant! When I say "I Hate Poetry", it's not just a cute branding exercise, I mean it. Poetry is something faraway and hidden inside something else that is too off-white to be compelling. I just want to connect and be connected. Remember, one man's noodge is another man's inspiration. Time to write more, Moskowitz
This was great, as usual. The eye to detail and the realistic pacing, led me to believe that this was something you'd lived through. If it was made up from "whole cloth" then it is all the more testament to your talent. A+ It kind of reminds me when I went to my ex-girlfriend's therapist to understand a "radical" new therapy she was undergoing called EMDR. (Google it.) Anyways, the therapist told me to close my eyes an
So nicely written. Great job!
Wow. This is quietly breathtaking. Comparisons of love to that which is infinite. Also, the comparisons to God are implicit. You're a very good writer, thanks for sharing and keep it up. Are you planning to publish? Moskowitz "all light shines in darkness, how else could it shine?" -from "Gimme Love and Turn on the Light" New York Dolls, 2006
The stubble outline of a freshly shaved head forces a question: was this a choice or was it a default? I watch with bemused recognition their vainglorious and futile fight against the ravages of time I embrace the wrinkles on my face in the hope they’ll resemble the wrinkles on my brain<B
Happy Mother's Day, today and everyday.
This has a lingering sense of hopelessness. Who is she? Well written. - Moskowitz
I thought it was about a tortured love affair; when I learned it was a guitar, it made sense, especially since I've had a tortured love affair with my guitar for 30 years. Nicely done, Moskowitz
Thanks, my friend, I'm praying for your complete recovery, my brudda. - god bless, Moskowitz
