Happy Anniversary, my friend! Hope you get laid. Have a beer for me! -- your friend Moskowitz
Buddah Moskowitz
the clock is ticking and days are escaping and any time we’ve saved is already gone don’t waste your breath bargaining God’s heard it all before and ask not for whom the box in the ground waits it waits for thee so take off your shoes and feel the cold wet grass tickling between your toes turn u
Thanks Kelly! Listen to this wise woman, BUY MY BOOK please.
Well done. Great nimble writing.
Thanks bro!
Thanks for your note. I personally don't like one very much. It's a boring rant. It's basically a fuck you -- not a poem. Did your documentary come out yet? L'Shanah Tovah from the Unrepentant Jew
Since I do all the driving for my family, I'm going to ask Mrs. Moskowitz to blow the "shofar" tonight. Seriously, L'Shanah Tovah to all.
Order tries to rule, but eventually tires and gives in. Thanks for reading! Moskowitz
Again I look in the mirror and all I see are blank pages naively I look to you thinking you’ve got the answer I look back and see unintentional mistakes and close calls at the poetry reading I heard applause but did not trust it my pay stub comes and I think I fooled them for another month
The veterans have been married too long they always remind us that we’re newlyweds like our marriage isn’t real Our married friends sometimes seem like adversaries who sleep together they speak in shades of disdain with their “humorous” faux insults “She never gives me any” “He never puts down the seat”<BR
i like your poem and now i see y my dad dus not talk to me no more why is that? was he absent? angry? sorry to hear that. I'll pray it gets better for you. - Moskowitz
I can't say I can understand or explain it, but I love the language. Nicely done - any hints to help me appreciate it better?
Part of recovery for me is to pray for those I despise. Sometimes it is not possible for me to do so. and so I will add you to my prayers as well. Thanks for reading and commenting.
[smiling] Ah, so true. Thanks for the comment.
My Christian friend tells me not to worry because there are already so many Christians praying for me thanks I’ll take all the help I can get and I look at the Little Blonde Talking Monkey who calls me Pop-o and answer her as honestly as I know “well, the men who flew the planes into the World Trade Cen
My Christian friend tells me not to worry because there are already so many Christians praying for me thanks I’ll take all the help I can get and I look at the Little Blonde Talking Monkey who calls me Pop-o and answer her as honestly as I know "well, the men who flew the planes into the World Trade Center thought they were doing the right thing by God but they were very misguided" but were they bad? <br
This was very good. For me, the rose is a visual metaphor for the beauty and wonder of the Almighty. Viewed with that lens, your poem takes on an even more trenchant hue. I also read this as the flower being a young person - -there are so many possible ways to go with this. Again, very well done.
I’m giving myself only sixteen lines the unlearned poet am I I’m better with lyrics or valentines designed to elicit a sigh for I am suspicious of poetry, I’ve contempt for self-conscious craft, more than fortune or notoriety I just hope my readers have laughed I try to vary the topics I choose like soupcans on
ok, so I copied your text into a translator, and it completely fouled up the poetry, but still I could sense this was a poem of longing, and even through the lousy translation, there was something good in there! Moskowitz, The embarrassed Mexican Jew who can't speak espanol worth mierda
Lift yourself high so high that you can see the mountain top to reach for that star that shines within I always say that in every work of art there is something special or unique, a new way of seeing something, that makes it stand out - that knocks it out of the park, so to speak. This was that section for me. Great job.<br/
I always find it interesting to hear what women find attractive about men. very well written. thanks for being honest about hand size. I think most women say it doesn't matter, but I tend to distrust this.
Yes, and it is a divine madness. Very good writing. Send more.
Thanks for reading this. I started this blog a year ago in May with the intention of writing one a day. I figured I would have a book within a year. I didn't make my quota but knowing that someone might read these helped me focus. I don't try to write to please others, but I try to write accurately. I try to go in different areas topically, but I fear that my technique hasn't improved. That's ok. I can stand by what I write. I'm not eve
Yes, I have considered it, but I always remember that nothing's *that* big to make me want to end it all. I have lots of optimism and hope in all the crap that I don't know is out there. I figure there must be an answer and if I don't see it, then hang on - it'll make itself known. Also, since then I've taken on God, and since I think I belong to God, this is his body, not mine, so I'm not allowed to wreck it in any way. Of course, now
Work is a struggle school is a struggle love is another struggle yet finding the right word and pasting it into the right place in my poem is a struggle being a Jew in a world full of Christians is a struggle listening to someone droning on about their own interests is not a struggle
