windows update and messenger errors in Object Desktop Stardock Forums

after installing desktopx and windowblinds I experienced a scripting error. Window update, yahoo search, yahoo messenger would not work properly. I saw a post indication this could be a scripting error and to re-install, I Downloaded and installed the WindowsXP-scripts fixed it but only temporarily. I've had to install a second time after rebooting the system. Any new info?
