Got the email about Objectdock 3. Immediately ordered, upgrade from owning it YEARS ago!! My mistake, I checked and I do have a separate ObjectDock license. So if they do fix it, I'm good!! Now, for this alternative?? Somewhat ironically I got an email from Stardock about Object Dock just yesterday, rekindling my interest. Thought maybe it was a new version update, but alas, no. At least they know it exists. So really, what are all the alternatives to Object Dock?

Today Start 10 stops working in Start Menu Products Stardock Forums

Today I get up and Start10 is not working. Win10 Pro, Object Desktop subscriber paid up. I have Windows 10 Pro 1511 10586-36, up to date. Webroot Antivirus and Malwarebytes Pro. Run scans with both, clean. I have 4 other computers with Win 10 and basically the same setup Win version wise, AV wise, and Start10 wise, and all those are fine. So, uninstall, reboot, install thru Object Desktop manager, reboot. Start10 setup will run but I never get the Start 10 icon or menu, nothing.

I uninstalled/reinstalled from an old download. I had to cancel the automatic download of a new version on first startup, then go to Settings and tell it to notify my. I now have v2.38.434 build 139. It's better, but I still need to scroll one screenful before anything shows up in Skins and Themes/Windowblinds. Once I scroll one screenful down, then they're all there. With the new version I had to scroll a bit and wait about 3 minutes for all the stuff to "shuffle" into the window!! Strange inde

SDC installed a new version of itself, right. I don't remember having a choice, I started it and it just downloaded and installed. I tried the restore link, which is a link to a file called loader.exe, with a /restore. It didn't seem to do anything other than load SDC. Stardock Central downloaded a new version on Vista today, and now when I go to look at skins, nothing is in the window. If I hover over something in the window, it's there. If I right click somewhere and click Large Preview I see that. If I left click somewhere, I get 2 or 6 or 10 icons for skins, click somewhere else, I get some more. Consulted .Zer0 and he has no idea what's causing this. He recommended setting MS Money to NOT skin, which I did, and all's well. BTW, Ceirous SX exhibited this same behavior with MS Money!!

I have this same problem, WB 5.1, MS Money 2006. When MS Money starts, it opens in the last window size like it should and immediately cranks down the screen to full desktop height. The width does not change. It doesn't do it all the time, either, just sometimes. Not sure if it's particular skins causing it or what. Mostly a bump, is there any chance this will get fixed? I want to run something other than 96dpi also, and Theme Manager doesn't work with, say, 120 dpi? I mean, it works, but doesn't show the whole window.

You don't have your pixels per inch set to something other that 96, do you? I've found that sometimes screws up things. I have a Dell 30" at 2560 x 1600 and run at 108 ppi or sometimes 120, but things are always better at 96. Just a thought.

I just bought Object Desktop. I had ObjectDock before, so was a member at Stardock but haven't used it or had anything installed for a while. I downloaded Stardock Central and installed. It won't even run. I get the error "The procedure entry point []mbsnbicmp could not be located in MSVCRT.dll" That's a square symbol, not the brackets I used to represent it. What do I do, I can't begin to download the Object Desktop stuff if I can't even run Stardock Central, right? Off to a bad start

OK, I got it fixed, but not sure how/why. Setting non-tabbed to always on top means on top of screen saver, too. For tabbed, now I can't get it to show on top of screensaver no matter how I set either type of dock!! Before, both were on top. Likely some little buglet. I just purchased ObjectDock Plus and notice the docks show on top of the Windows screensaver. I have one normal dock and one tabbed dock, both show over the screensaver. Is this normal, or is there something I can turn off/on to have this NOT happen? I've looked around but nothing obvious to me. I'm just using the WindowsXP screen saver, no fancy 3D screensaver with sound and flashing lights or anything.
