Same problem. Vista X64, blank icons, and Icon Packager will not launch. I haven't had time to look into a fix since I'm moving on Friday. Anyway, you aren't the only one.

The latest versions of the ATI AIW software have the Tv on Demand feature turned on all the time with no way to turn it off. That appears to be a problem. You need to change the registry to turn it off. 1. Open regedit. 2. Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\ATITechnologies\Multimedia\Features\DTV\Channel Manager 3. Set the key "LiveMode" to value "1" . At least that works for me.
