Here is how you get the best Anti Virus software. 1) Go to: http://www.ubuntu.com/ 2) Reformat your HDD and install Ubuntu 8.10 (or you other favorite Linux distros).
Oh yeah, sounds awesome. Instead of having Windows and a great AV program like Norton 360.. Let's go the dumb route and install an "open-source" OS which is much more vulnerable to attack. There's nothing you can say to make linux more secure. It just isn't.&nb
Um, why has no one mentioned that System Tray and Taskbar support DOES work with Object Dock Plus on 64 bit Windows Vista. I'm using it now! This problem was solved in this thread https://forums.wincustomize.com/331379/page/1/#1988943 back in December. Here was my description of the fix, which requires you download Stardock Central... Okay, I was able to g

I support where all of you are complaining. However.. I also have ObjectDock Plus and I'm running it on Windows Vista Ultimate (64-Bit).. Besides the Start Menu and Taskbar functionality not working for it.. It works perfect...
I'm running vista 64 ultimate Should have been indicated 32-bits only on the info page... I wouldn't have paid for the plus version if I knew that all the features I paid for do not work on my system. Decieving.[/
BitDefender and Norton 360 have worked best for me. Really depends on the apps on your machine as well and compatibility with them against your anti-virus. Currently, I took off BitDefender Total Security 2009 and installed Norton 360. I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate (64-Bit) and BitDefender scanning (auto and manual) kept not working. I reinstalled BitDefender for the 6th time, had the issue again and put Norton 360 on the machine. I've been running Norton 36
Maybe they just figured you're a clean person.. May be more of a "profiling" issue than a shortage of trees lol. Or, you have a picture of yourself in all of these places that says, "Give 1 Napkin.. (2 max.)" :)
See what Windows has done to our children..........
Ain't that the truth.. How soon we all forget the days of one of the best things ever.. DOS 6.22 Lol.
Man what happened to the diskette drives?!?! I probably would keep using xp till they don't support it, I don't really like win 7 or vista, each time they release a new one, it gets larger to install with not that many features I care to use, just look at the live photo gallery, I have photoshop why would use an inferior product Besides there are so many bugs and defects with the products
To each their own. Congrats All!!!!!
Ah, good suggestion. Thank you!! :) Wouldn't happen to know what is the best beer to accomodate Guinness while making a Black & Tan would you? Then I believe my life long question list is full-filled (for now) lol.
Likewise with me, IE8 skins just fine... And, I'm using Vista Home Premium (64-Bit) and running WB 6.4 Build 129 x64 As angus is saying, make sure WindowBlinds is up to date.. Also make sure you've done all of your Windows updates.. It won't help this issue, but I'm a fanatic about that stuff lol..
Doesn't matter where you begin at the command prompt, vssadmin would run under c:\dogpoop\idontlikeit for all it cares. lol To give you piece of mind though, type in CD\ at the command prompt and that will start you off right at the root C:\ .. If you need help using the switches with vssadmin, you can google it to get really in depth information about it. If you don't feel comfy with that, reply here and I'll persona
Are the Titular Digits real?.. (As a reference, see the movie "The Number 23")... I've wondered and couldn't find a direct response to them on the net. I knew mickeko would know, so I wanted to ask here.. lol
I've seen issues with all skins at one point or another. Master skin or Not. Skins have issues and this thread points out the issues with this skin in particular. The thread itself is a little degarding to Z and I would have closed this topic if I was a moderator (alas, I'm not and I have 10 other sites to manage).. and moved it into the skin comment area itself. lol I don't know if the mods have that ability with the way the site is coded here though...</p
Ahhhhhhhhhh ok.. Jafo explained this all to me in detail.. He always calms me down. I understand it now.. just email me as I said above, I'll link ya to it.
Neeeeeeeeeevermind...
It got declined here for submission. If you want it still, My email is: cynthdivide at gmail dot com Don't figure the moderators will mind if I give you that email since you have opted to not receive emails from others.
Provided it's approved.. I've created and uploaded one for you to the LogonStudio Vista area of the site. It's very basic and clean looking. Not everyone likes my style, hopefully it works for you :).. Have a good one.
I'd highly recommend downloading Virtual PC 2007 SP1. That way you don't need to dual boot. You can just run a Virtual Machine. Check it out here: http://www.micro
Another great skin Mike. Not that I'm suprised :) lol.. At least, I have a new one to use. On another topic, what icon pack is that in the screen shot (for Mike or anyone that can answer).. Looks pretty nice.
Amazing skin Mike. Let it be known, you're the reason I renew every year :)
Um... I dual boot between Vista Ultimate SP1 and XP Pro SP3, and I must disagree that XP SP3 is faster. On my rig (AMD Athlon x2 6400 3.4ghz/4gb RAM), I find that Vista runs a good deal faster and is more stable... better than XP for multiple apps to be open/used.
Curious.. Different users report different things. I'm happy to hear this in your situation starkers. I guess it also really depends what all is loaded in XP as supposed to Vista as well for booting speed and
Vista is a great "concept" not necessarily a great OS for those of you whom aren't adventurous. I've been personally working with Vista since it's alpha stages. The main complaints I have are: -NOT a resource hog, but demands better hardware than 1/2 the consumers I know can afford. (At least to run Home Premium or Ultimate) - This could also vary given area you live in, of course. -A rather annoying feature called the UAC (User Account Control). Whereas, I see it's purpose
Very nice things mentioned. Leave it to Stardock to put me in awe a few times a year. Great job gentlemen. I wouldn't mind to help with the Beta of Impulse. I'm already on the beta list for everything else with Microsoft. lol. :)
Impressive. I'm using the beta of WB6 on Windows Vista Home Premium. Where to begin.. The Sidebar skins (which you can create your own).. The vast options for coloring and transparency.. Having Diamond as a skin to use.. I'm very satisfied. Can't wait for The RC and then Final... Stardock has outdone themselves this time.. Well worth this wait. (I'm obviously a Stardock whore if you look at my screen shot. And proud of it! lol).. <img src="http://shadowgaming.net/cy
