I just took 3 hours to dl SP1. I just remembered the warnings too late to disrupt the install of SP1 and feared the absolute worst scenerio. Then to my amazement the install went absolutely flawlessly. Some may have problems and others may not. Go back to the original boot then after the update reinstall your logon. 2 cents worth.

JTB I usually go to the CM and I thought I was being careful about uninstalling and reinstalling but I got bit and most of my skins were deleted too. Soooo.....be careful and Zip up your most cherished skins and put them away in a safe place before doing any tidy-up jobs.

Norton SystemWork Pro might help GM. It does entail by passing any GUI though. However in such circumstances I usually restore a previous backup from CD. Or I try to recover everything by removing the HD and shaking it like an Etch-A-Sketch until everything is back in place.

Well, mine pewter sits under my desk. It has a keyboard and a monitor. When I asked it what kind of pewter it was it said for me to mind my own business. Then it went back to quietly hummming some sort of unknown tune. It and I have not spoken since.

Hmmm, I have both progs and I can't even make an icon. Real pretty interfaces though. Really I just kind of touch up icons I feel need touching up. I have the artistic ability of a cat with a brush attached to its' tail.

To unzip an iconpackager file just add a "z" to .ip to make the file a .zip file.

It looks like the icons are mormegils fauxs-xp and are in the Iconpackager section. The other icons that jump up and wiggle around are objects and are in the DesktopX section.
