Can't find where to download updates to my game in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hi there, I have just dusted off my tinned copy of Gal Civ II after a long break. I have my original GC2xx code and my new code received from Stardock when I registered. No matter where I go on Stardock or anywhere else, I can't find where to download updates to the game so I am stuck with a vanilla 1.0 copy. Is there some hidden members area where I can get my updates (I remember downloading some a long time ago but obviously not recently). <

Cannot register game online after installing 1.1... in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I get either a message saying simply "Error Activating the Product", or it tells me that it can't communicate with the network. I have my firewall up, but that makes no difference as I disabled that and tried and it came up with the same message. Slightly annoyed. Now it just says "Error activating product"...so I can't play the game for another 4 evenings...

My own fault. In my eagerness to have everything maxed out, I also 'maxed out' the tactical zoom level to 100%...making the planets and ships disapear...my big bad. At least I spotted it before someone pointed out the blatently obvious. Back to the game...

'Tactical' Map View Only in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

I have searched the forum for an answer to this one, but the one provided does not work (changing regional settings). I have Windows XP SP2, Latest direct X, latest Nvidia drivers for Geforce 6600GT and still no planets or ships. I remember having them when I installed the game but suddenly they were replaced for ever by circles for planets and different groupings of circles and polygons for ships and stations...confused. Thanks for any help.
