I believe the idea has a lot of merit, and sounds like it could be fun, especially for those of us that start large projects and never finish them because of interest changes. That being said… Skins can be hard to duplicate without presets the original author may have used, especially on detailed ones. While I know it's very possible (I like to port VS for my use) not everyone is on the same level. If an author isn’t given full control over who skins what, we may get tarts in the sweets
the alpha version is open to OD subscribers only. I believe youll get access to a later version dont hold me to that though

i had the same feelings goodmorphing. When i first installed XP awhile back it became an obsession to find a way to disable messenger from loading everytime I checked my email it was very thoughtful to share your finding, Im sure there are others in the same boat we were. primerica, some ppl are wary of downloading random executables from the net. Im sure goodmorphing is very trustworthy, but things happen and files that seem innocent can be very dangerous

easier method 1. Load Regedit 2. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Outlook Express 3. Make there a new DWORD and name it Hide Messenger 4. have you tried un-installing and deleting the whole directory? (leftovers not removed, like skins). If that doesnt at least fix your skin list then its prob not your fault

kosasati, are you using the wb4 skins or older ones? Theres lots of lil problems where graphics are where they didnt use to be, and missing in areas they were before on my machine, but I think this is just because the skins are for a previous version. if youve got the wb4 skins, then i suggest you play with the options some more, they skin everything 3.5 did and more so far as I can tell.
if you click the link and it doesnt ask you where youd like to save it, then right click the download link and click save target is (in IE), then decide where youd like it to go. You dont need OD to download wallpapers i have a folder under my documents called downloads, and a shorcut to it on my quick launch bar. If I like it then I move it to my backgrounds folder also under my documents
