That's an interesting side effect of an article like this. The rant was warranted when it was issued. Now, the Europeans are starting to wake up and respond. They're doing it in the slow, laconic way that is typical to the Continent, but they're starting to wake up. Still nothing on the various aid organizations, that I've been able to find.
Why waste the money on explosives when a few well placed words can cause even more damage than they've managed so far with the suicide bombers? It is a tragic waste. And it doesn't surprise me in the least that al-Jazeera is playing it as the US Army's fault when the army wasn't anywhere nearby.

For various reasons (including we go too busy, naturally), my wife stopped making her award winning homemade bread.
