Sittin' and a-knittin'?? Wasn't that from Hee Haw? Or was that pickin' and a-grinnin? Either way I hope you wait for a load is a short one and beware of the seagulls. I heard they like "ugly" hats.

Merry Christmas, uDig! Thanks, Ted! Hope your Christmas was most joyous. Where are you? I sneak in here every now and then to leave comments. Now I just

Well, I'm glad it wasn't anything serious and it's a good thing you didn't see "Aliens" or "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" recently or you really might've freaked out. BTW .. Did you check the other door jamb? .. Oh oh

Nice story, Donna, but where's the video of your one leg pedaling? Kinda reminds me of a story. Some years back one of my best friends got divorced and she swore off men forever. Well, one night I was over her house (and to make a long story short) she said she wanted to have sex. She said that it had been so long she wonders if she still knew how. I told her, "It's like ridin

I haven't seen these in awhile. "Plants Fall Silent"-- I guess that answers the question "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" <TABLE cellpadding=8 width="95%" align=

I like the name Destiny. Well, not long ago, she was surfing the Internet and discovered Miley Cyrus' birth name. And since she's also named Destiny, we get to be cool parents for awhile, at least! Gid, I always knew you were as cool as Billy Ray. <img src="../images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absm

The great thing about having a bag of tricks is it's always filled with exactly what you need when you need it. As for looking for the trick that deals with Letting Go ... who knows maybe you don't need it just yet.

Mark, Tripe, at any time, is not something I'm remotely partial to. I think if it had been me with that little Mexican cutie, I would have asked her to come back to bed and do some cooking there, if you know what I mean. When you come to Texas in 2010 I'll make sure you try some. BTW .. I mean menudo not

Donna, How do they come up with those charts that tell you your daughter is 7 or 9 pounds overweight? I totally agree with TW about not all kids fitting into one perfect size. If your daughter looks okay to you then I think you need not worry. So she's not 7 lbs overweight she's 9 lbs over weight? </TA

Good work, Mark. Do people really want paradise? My version of paradise needs to be like my favorite song. Depending on my mood my favorite song is constantly changing, and that's exactly how I would want my paradise. I have a capacity to be able to put myself into a character, if you will, in order to write di

Very good. I wonder if I like it because I identify with the character so much. I was hoping this would have the readers wondering what he was going to do when she came home. I think he would hide in the shadows. I only say that because of the name you were going to call this poem. </

I remember watching old westerns where the indians would tie cowboys down, spread-eagled and let the buzzards at them. There was nothing even vaguely sexual or risque about this. I'm confused... I know there's a Brokeback Mountain joke in there somewhere.

I think we grow hair in our ears as we get older so we can filter out all the BS we hear from our women (oops, did I type that out aloud?) Then why the hell do I keep plucking them out every week?! Good work, mate and remember there's always hats.

In Australia, spread-eagled means lying flat on one's back, arms and legs stretched out. I thought it meant the same thing here, too. Now I'm curious about the sexual meaning.

I know exactly how you feel. When I lived in New York City people would refer themselves as "New Yorkers". Apparently they missed class the day they talked about states. What about New York state? Western New York and Upstate New York. New York the Eastern state. I would tell those people you are a Manhattanite or a Brooklynite. I am personally thankful to God I lived in Queens. I have the freedom in this city to say that.

Spread Eagle actually sounds pretty good, but I again I could be thinking of an old GF that had an eagle tattooed right over her ... I think it would be hard to come up with a good band name. I remember a few years back at a music award show when Trey Parker and Matt Stone were introducing a band which went something like this... "In the history of rock music there h

You're hardly boring! Not only would your friends here agree with Nicky but even your 'enemies' would, too. They may call you many names, but boring wouldn't be one of them. btw .. I love the last picture.
