thx to stark i upgraded from my laptop which was a dell inspiron 7500, to a new desktop, amd 1900xp 512 ram radeon 7500 AIW witha soyo dragon MB nothing thats like screaming fast but much better than what i had
i suggest if u zare going to try linux on ur main computer, u might wanna try it on an old system u may have sitting around, mainyl because, linux isnt exactly easy to get used too, they have made alot of improvements from years ago, but u still need to get familiar witht he way it works. It works ina way different way than windows.

i have noticed that LS threads have been attracting alot of my OS is greater than thou feeling. Im with jafo, i have been running LS for about a year anda half, and to tell u the truth it has never crashed or messed with my system, ive had themes that have caused some trouble but thats to be expected read up on it or live and learn, if something doesnt work for u try it at a different angle, instead of going on flaming it just because it doesnt work for u. i got redhat linux, i actually dled the 3 cds it came on too. It took way too many tries to get it too work, once i got it working it was great i run my game servers on it because its more stable. I havnt really tried making it used for my other proggies on my windows machinebut i guess i can give it a try
i use an old distro of LS, just seems i dont need the update, if u check my uplaoded theme, kiss theory thats what im running, too many mods = bad, gets confusing to code im not getting into this mac pc holy war i have 1 of each in my room so i think im safe for now
