Do you really feel that guns are neither good or bad? If you do feel that they are neither good or bad then why do you feel the need to persuade some one the counter point (example here some feels guns are good and you're trying to persuade the counter side)? Now, if guns are neither bad nor good then why ban them? You brought up the point of banning guns by listing off those countries so what is the point in banning guns?
Because if this was an argument abo
Hahah...that was funny. Obama is weak, and could care less about Iran getting nukes.
How do you figure? How can you claim that? Is there anything Obama has done that lets you believe that he doesn't care about the state of nuclear proliferation in the Gulf region? What kind of action would convince you that he actually is proactive about it? A military strike?
How about setting supply lines? Having outposts to host your supply base, so that outside of this range, your troops would slowly loose strenght because of no food, no arrows, etc.. Some units would be "self-sufficient", like Rangers. These supply outposts would eventually be upgraded to defensive forts or trade centers, impeding the ennemy's troop movement, strenght, or increasing your own trade in the region. These outposts would be both a great strategic focal point for the
I urged him to let you respond. I do not believe you have addressed his concerns adequately, just continue your anti-gun tirade, but that's up to you
I have replied to his tirade in the proper thread. One he cannot lock me out of if the arguments aren't to his liking.
Liberal...It's funny how many "liberals" hate that term. Sorry it's an accurate description. I'm proud to be a conservative, and you may address me as such any day of the week.
<
If you desire let the government to control everything for you and your country, you my friend are a socialist. (just saying)
No, that's a totalitarist. Socialism is an economic belief, not an organisational structure of society that would be akin to democracy, feodalism, etc.. Granted, many socialist sociery have derived into dictatorships, but not all. And socialism isn't the single credo of dictatorships.
Do you know how the Russians got the atomic bomb in 1948?
Research? Stealing the works of the german's labs? Using german scientists in their own labs?
The dollar is worth nothing, and is only getting worse
I wouldn't call that "nothing". It is weaker than has been. You are just using hyperboles to prove your nonpoint. The Euro actually lost a lot of value compared to the USD in the past 2 yeasrs. So did the GBP. The CAD and AUD ha
Oh come on, those are the worst two examples you come up with. The Iraq war, for all intensive purpose, ended in 2008. It lasted longer than US involvement in WWII. How long was the Allied occupation of Europe and Japan? Five years? More? Talk to me about Iraq in 2013. Afghanistan is still a hot war, it should not even be included. But if it makes you feel better about being self-righteous to use terms like conquered, and self-evident games, more power to you. America bad, but in a goo
Cannon would be interesting, indeed. Some sort of low-tech blackpowder weaponry for the civilisation having more focus on high technology and industry, as opposed to those focusing on developping high magic and troop training (ex: High Elves). And also, why wouldn't cannons be able to beat dragons, magical armor and the like? Can't you just enchant the cannon to away hit right? To shoot iceballs?
Every job I've had, I had to produce my SS card and/or my retired military ID (which contains my SSN), couldn't just give them a number or photo copy. That said, illegals get jobs, so I'm pretty sure some employers are not being so thorough.
Right. So you need the SS card and the retired military ID which also have the SSN.. tell me again what MORE would the National ID card have that is so bad? I mean.. you haven't really made your case about how horrib
That is why a National ID would be a valuable item to a thief. Just as stolen Social Security cards are now (which you must show now to a potential employer, whether you are a citizen or legal resident w/ green card),
So.. it's gonna be the equivalent of your social security card, right? What more is there gonna be on it that isn't on the SSC? (and by the way, do you need to show the card itself to get a job, or you can simply give your SSN and an ID?)
Bet you didn't know the level of communists in the FDR government? The reason for the "Red Scare", and McCarthy was the fact that these avowed communists (which is one small step above a socialist IMO) were being exposed at an alarming rate.
Aye. But the core conflict was against Russia, not against the communists. The whole "ideological" aspect of that conflict was simply used to bolster morale against them, but in the end, it was simply a Slav Dictatorship with a lot
Apparently the ability to work legally in the US.
Yhea, that's called a Green Card. And the employer still has to declare you to the dept of labor. I doubt the ID will change that, it'd be stupid to put everything on a piece of paper you can loose or get stolen. Anything else that'd be on it that you are soo panicky about it?
The ID card would have all the information that the drivers license and passport has, so it would be that much more valuable for thieves. And that much more valuable to those who want to track what you are doing.
I don't get it. On my driver's licence is my adress, name and brith date. What would there be on an ID more than this?
If you look at the current state of the economy, and with news today that the U.S. AAA credit rating might be pulled, and that Social Security is starting to cash-in IOU's, I wouldn't be that confident.
You ARE going through rough times. I won't deny that (hell no!) But you are far from the pit of despair. The U.K. also are close of loosing that rating. Yet you are far from being Greece, eh? Things are "worse", not "worst".
Then why is it one of the first things that all oppressive regimes do, is take away firearms from their citizens? A gun is a tool. I don't mind people incompetent in handling one themselves, not having one, just don't throw your morals on me. Guns don't kill people, people kill people, that will always be true. I've had a gun since age eight, never killed anyone, never had a desire to (though I wouldn't hesitate to kill with prejudice if they broke into my home, a choice cri

Nor are they anti-americans, nor do they act with the idea to "Destroy america" in their mind. If anything, it should be revealing that this is what many democrat

Yet, the governments in place aren't calling for your departure since they rely on your presence to be in power. It's.. a self-evident game. Not a bad one, just a matter of fact. The USA are quite good at playing internal political games for the International eyes, so you make sure that the "legitimate government" won't be in a posit
