883 and I have teamed up again to work on Enkera 2 for Winamp 5. You can check out a teaser over at Breed, but keep in mind it's showing only at 65% original size so that you have to wait to appreciate all the yummy details. If you aren't familiar with our w

Josephs, sorry about the lack of response when you contacted me at DA about your suite based on my skin. Work and life has just been very busy lately. To be honest, my Simple skin was really an experiment in Winamp coding and I'm not very possesive of the design since it was a knock-off of some MSN styled elements I have seen. It would have been more respectful of you to have waited for a response from me before distributing work that is cle

You could do the ASP.NET version very much the same way as you would with the PHP version by just using ASP.NET statements inline with your HTML. If this table is to be used on more than a single page, you should then consider moving the table HTML and logic into a "User Control" which can then be included on any page. User Controls can have properties and methods defined, just like any class, and if implemented could give you programmatic control over

A skin 883 and I worked on was recently added to the site but somthing seems to be wacky. https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=1263&LibID=10 The skin indicates that it was "featured", but it never appeared on the homepage? Also, on the "Newest" page (https://www.wincustomize.com/IndexNewest.aspx) it is not listed under the "Recently Featured Skins" heading. The skin was uploaded yesterday and the site seemed to

Ron, your "DT Development" WB skin is a cheap knock-off of my Obsidian DFX skin: Yours: Link Mine: Link I'm insisting that you remove that skin from your portfolio and cease distributing it. I'm only giving you a few days to comply before I take more serio

Hey guys, check which ones are actually entered into the category first. Resurgence isn't in this category. My choices for best themed in no particular order would be between Machina (strong sci-fi theme), Bunker (WWII radio equipment theme) and H20 Liquid (water theme, duh).

Frogboy said, "It was not my intention to imply that judges were getting their directions based on news items." That's all I wanted to hear. I wish you had said it a while ago to save me a bunch of typing. Atmoic makes excellent points.

If all the judges had done as Jark did, then it would have been fine, an impartial vote is exactly what a judge should do. But if you have judges that had to rely on the opinions of others to finalize their own opinion, then you need to find better judges.

"...news items do have *some* influence with some judges". I had just assumed the judges were impartial. "It's a huge leap to assume that people's responses in news items somehow determined the outcome". Then why do I have only myself to blame for the outcome? Maybe that was an overstatement? If so, I'll just drop it.

Even though I was disappointed in the results I would have been totally fine with it had Frogboy not said that "if you had some opinion on what skin should win some event but didn't comment on the news item, you have no one to blame but yourself". That implies that *I* or any of us could have had some influence over the judges decision by simply making comments on the news postings. I don't blame the judges for the events not turning out the way I would have liked if it was understood between

I suppose it should have then read "Tell us which skin you think should win because the judges will take what you say into account when deciding the winners". Otherwise I had taken it simply as a way to keep everyone excited and talking about the competition.
