In my web travels came across a shareware app that looks like it is using Icon#73 as it's app icon. Link to the Site: http://www.keepsecretinpicture.com/products.htm Link to Mormegil's Icon: http://mormegil.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=372&libid=39

w00t! Today vStyler is legal...let's all take advantage of him! :d ;p
:lol I meant scripting specifically to do with shifting the layers, z-order, and parent/child relationships. I've been known to do a script or two. ;) Having a base object (transparent layer) just makes things easier.
The changing of your order is relative to your object(s) relationships. Layering(ie. transparent bgd) is the only way to do what you want relatively easy. Trying to script something causes more problems than it solves...trust me. ;)
Have been using the object comments for a built in drag and drop help function. Then either build a help file using the dictionary object or a multi-dimensional array. Eg. drag the question mark over the object & help pops up display the comments. My most favorite one recently is the ctrl+space code suggestions. Still haven't got all the properties items down pat.
16 days...going strong !
Dammit...was hoping for a reason to buy a pack! ;p Haven't had one since Monday afternoon at 3:30:47pm EST. It was sunny, with a slight overcast, the breeze gently out of the south west with.... can ya tell I'm still battling the cravings?
Very curious, I never tried either of those but, wondered if it was a boolean value or not. From the TestParent object this one works.
Sub Object_OnMouseEnterEx(obj) Select Case obj.name Case "TestChild" Msgbox "This object's parent is " & DesktopX.Object("TestChild").Parent.Object.Name End Select End Sub
It's a trade show for crying out loud not preschool. Actually the comment above about shutting them all off at once would have had more merit with their argument but, to go around randomly *cough* and pick-and-choose who to turn off was purely a childish prank and blatant marketing ploy. After getting caught with they're hand in the cookie jar instead of admitting that they didn't think this out very well and accepting responsibility they try to blame others. Sort of gutless I
Happy Birthday! :CONGRAT: Don't worry about the candles I put a little something special in the cake for you! ;) PS. Go Patriots...he he couldn't help myself. ;p
Softpedia has Bitstrip(19kb) since redlar's site is kaput. You could also use GifSplitter which will split the images into separate images.
if you can't find Bitstrip - get Irfanview (it's free) use Irfanview to extract all frames, then put them back together a a pngstrip using AniUtil
Interesting, didn't know Irfanview could do this. Does it extract the frames to a transparent png?
Can't be done. I'm not sure but, wonder if this has to do with GIF licensing? Google Bitstrip. It's an old program that converts a gif animation into a horizontal or vertical bitmap strip. Then edit it in an image editor & save as a png.
Day 10 - umm... I'm actually starting to believe I can pull this off..
You can do it!
Nope.. or Ranger or Sir Smiley
Still in the process aka working on the last pack. I've done it before and the habit urges were/are far worse than the nicotine withdrawal. At the moment the computer tells me at random when to have a break. Next I'll have it tell me when to eat, sleep & go to the bathroom! ;)
Definitely well deserved, congrats! :CONGRAT:
Client or Builder Mode? XP or Vista? Have the same version on XP & no problems.
Alright John, you've given me the motivation to give it a go again...as soon as I finish what I've got...stupid ingrained "waste not want not". Put my ashtrays in the blue box & they took them. Been smoking outside in -17C weather has been very good motivation. Will let you know when my first cig free day is and I'm crying myself to sleep and sucking my thumb. ;)
In case you need some motivation: You can do it![link="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rAHnwWfsaY"]WWW Link[/link]
Congrats everyone. :CONGRAT:
And to celebrate...I'm going to Vegas baby!! (leaving tomorrow, back on friday)
W00t! If you see Negreanu give 'em a slap from me! ;p
Best of luck John. Something I found useful was from my neighbor. He tells people "that he never started". For some reason the mind set of not starting something benefited me. So, I quit before the new year and resolved not to start smoking. I realize they're just words but, for me quitting has sort of a negative connotation to it. Either way take from it what you will. ;)
The error that seems to crash it is line 63 subscript 1 but, this for some reason happens on removing (trying to remove) the last item from the list. The last item on delete re-writes it's properties to the index registry key with 0 then the crash occurs. I'm thinking it's getting caught in a redundant loop somewhere? Maybe try deleting or setting the index to null ("") if the number of actual entry's does equal zero and change it to an else if index > 0 for the next step that cont
I got nothing. The sub looks fine to me. If you want send it to me gmail account sirsmiley001 and I'll have a look at it. I'm always up for a challenge! ;) Something I've been doing lately is scripting a text object at each step which has helped in debugging.
So Its christmas day, quickly give us that nice gadget..
 Probably could've done a half-completed gadget but, my primary focus is on making a decent widget also have been away for the holidays. ;) Edit: Fixed the issue. This includes both widget & object versions. On first run you will see a browse dialog. Browse to and select the folder that holds all the sub folders. One major issue to fix with the animated decorations and some clean up plus GUI the
Really don't think you can do as a accurate an assessment as last year both because of Vista related development issues and some of your community changes didn't kick in until mid-year. Personally, I think the community effort has both substantial and successful. So, kudos from me and to the whole gang keep up the great work. Have had an idea for a few months or and just going to throw it out there for everyone to mull over. Not sure if it is feasible but, may be? May
I'm having trouble getting the tree to show up
Edit: Ok. Now I see what you mean. Compiled to a widget & moved base folder to another folder now have the same issue. Cleaned all caches & still exists. For those who say persist storage doesn't work, I say pffft as it keeps persisting my old location. I'm done for night & gone tomorrow and sad to say as I've got animated decorations working and you can add a sound to any of the tre
[Update] Another alpha. Put the script into the object so, it's a bit cluttered but, adequately commented. On first run you will be prompted to browse for the main folder. You can create, save and open tree configs and add/remove decorations. I've included some documentation on that. The sounds panel will display sounds and let you test each one. The animated decorations panel will work the same as the decorations panel, just need to add in the settings form, etc. He
Never. What ever is in the folder has been added there since I last cleaned it out. Kind of use as a check point for app's that like to add things without my knowledge. ;)
