Opening microsoft files by clicking on icon in Object Desktop JoeUser Forums

Hello, Pardon my ignorance but was hoping someone can point me in the right direction.-- I have a new DELL and installed a legitimate copy of office onto it. Whenever i double click a document (Word/Excel)The program launches, but the document doesnt load. I reinstalled office and also tried deleting the normal.dot file and ran word to create a new one. All have not given me a solution. Also did a repair from the help menu in w
