Well I didn't know where to put it so I did it twice - delete as necessary. I've kind of given up on making my own bar, so I tried using one of the objects on this website - yet I can't get a single one of them to work. Those that I can actually get into DesktopX don't work as I want them, and the rest that probably would work are .zip files full of loads of files that I can't somehow make an object of. Hellllllp!
Well I'm using DesktopX. As for actually making the bars, that's not a problem - I can't figure out though how to stick my MP3 Player controls onto the bar though, so that I only see them when the mouse is over the bar. That's my problem.
Bear with me - I'm a total n00b, but I'll try and explain what I'm trying to do s best I can. I'm trying to make sidebars that while the mouse is not on them they're 1 pixel wide and therefore pretty much invisible, and then visible when the mouse is rolled over them. This bit, I can do with no problems - what gets me is how on earth am I meant to put an object onto aforementioned bar, when it's visible? I probably haven't explai
Just thought of something else I'd better add while I'm here - the idea of this is so these bars come on top of everything, so that while I'm surfing I can change what track I'm listening to without having to minimize everything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
