Here is a pdf showing my problem. I don't know if you can figure it out, but sure appreciate you're taking a try at it. Thanks. [link="http://www.digitronsystems.us/Skin%20screenshots%20showing%20text%20problem.pdf"]WWW Link[/link] Please let me know if the link doesn't work.

I'll capture some screen shots and get them up tomorrow. Thanks.
This may be a problem in a program that I run frequently and not in the skins. What happens is that the edit control header bars display the correct graphics, but no text appears. This is a big problem in a program that displays tables of data because the headings don't display the title of the columns. I've tried several skins with the same result and I'm hoping that there is a setting or workaround for this. I'm certainly no expert on skin design, and I'm hoping that someone knows how
The lack of detailed documentation continues to really give me trouble. I've been working for four days, to the tune of about 9 hours just trying to figure out how to design a widget to play an internet radio station. I have the URL for the station, and when I enter it into one of the downloaded widgets, it plays fine. But no matter how closely I look at and experiment with those widgets, it always seems to come down to some script that is not one I can get to. Th
Thanks to you, I'm on my way. I am really beginning to "get the hang of it" now that you set me in the right direction. Thanks so much again.
I'm using a 4thGL database program called eDeveloper. I'm a programmer and this is the tool that I use for development. Since about 1984 in fact! In any event, programs that work perfectly when Blinds is not running cause the behavior I described. And not ALL the windows in my programs. Just some. I've made sure that I have no settings that are different from the ones that work to those that don't. This is when running XP. Havn't tried othe
So I gathered my courage and tried again, and presto! I'm starting to get it. Placing the files where you said to made most everything clear to me. I will try not to take advantage of your good nature by asking too many questions that I should be able to discover the answers to myself. One thing still escapes me: The text size and font. It seems that setting the font and size in the "general>advanced options" dialog affects the text only if
What an amazing response! Thanks so much for your trouble; I'll probably wait until tomorrow to try again, but your information looks like it contains all I need to know to get going. Many, many thanks. JS <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/icons/wc.gif" border=0 alt="Posted via WinCustomize Brows
Wow! This is amazingly complicated compared to the other StarDock software. One thing that attracted me to Blinds is how easy it is to add themes; just click on the download and you're about done. Just run them. I'm REALLY frustrated by ObjectDock. And I'm a professional programmer. I see examples showing multiple lines of icon objects. It appears to me that I have to create several "docks" and put them together to do that. Is that right?<br
So here's my problem: When I run Blinds, some of my programs only open to a very small window--not minimized completely, just about 20x30 pixels. As soon as I unload Blinds, all of these work fine. I have tried using "universal" skins to get around this, but the ones I really like require Blinds running. Anyone know if there is a setting to fix this. Or what the underlying cause is? Workarounds? Thanks. JS
There are sure lots of OD "themes" that I would like to try. I download them as zip files, but can't figure out how to install and run them. I've tried the theme manager. When I go to "add" and click on the zip file, little seems to happen. I get a "background" added, that doesn't display in the preview window. And although these "backgrounds" appear in the OD dialog for installed themes, I can't figure out how to use them or if there is a problem I d
I can't seem to change the font or size of the labels used throughout Stardock programs--specifically on an OD item, the advanced settings offer a place for "label" font and size specification, but these settings seem to have no effect. Is this how I do it? Or is there a different way? JS
I have a few bars open. It would be handy to be able to close some and start them again from a shortcut on another. Can't find how to do this, but I'm sure there must be a way. JS
