I guess they feel Obama is a bigger threat in 2008 than Hillary. I don't. No doubt one of her underlings would fall on their sword, but so far all the divisions in the Dem party are ones that will help Hillary, imho. This could be something that might actually even the playing field. Surely they didn't just lie about it. Maybe they'll be challenged to do more.

Anyone have a link to the Hillary part in more detail? Everywhere else on the Internet is spouting it as either a 2006 email effort or FoxNews' coverage of it . The part that annoys me most is that Insight magazine only spends a few sentences talking about the Hillary side, and spends the rest talking about Obama. That makes it look like the Hillary thing is just an ex

"While you're chatting with these women, do you wonder what might be going on, or being built, in their husband's basement workshops? Perhaps preached or discussed, in hushed tone, in their mosques? I do. I'm not a dupe. 'nuff said. You deserve whatever bleak world you make for yourself. I don't hate you because you dare to question. I hate yo

Yeah, I think you can be a good Christian and be a Democrat, especially if you aren't an overly dogmatic Christian. I think most Christians who are Dems are so in spite of a lot of the policy they produce, though. They just seem to value the "helping the poor" song-and-dance more than they loathe the other aspects of Dem moral bankruptcy.

I think the way people are talking about it also assumes that Madrassa=Radical. There are Christian schools that are wacko fundamentalist, and then there are Christian schools that you can barely differentiate from secular public schools. Given the age he would have been at the time, I don't think you would have seen the kind of radicalism you might find now, especially in Indonesia. I have no doubt that they'll use Islamophobia against him. It's sad after the whole Harold Ford thing,

They do it because that is why they are here. It isn't fun for them if they aren't doing it. Lucas is a masochist. Jennifer is a "champion", forever defending anyone that everyone hates because it makes her feel lofty. The moment we have the ability to make specific people's posts invisible no one will see what she or lucas says.

"Just keep it up, buddy. I'm in the mood for a flamefest." Repent!!! Penitenziagite!!! Cast off your pinkoness and do not follow your brothers into the hell that is a suburban community meeting. There they will discuss standards for gender-neutral language in local government documents for all eternity!!!

"I look at it all from a standpoint of practicality. You don't." Hate is always excused in terms of 'reality' or 'practicality' in opposition to pragmatism over the long term. It's easy to look at a tiny slice of the current events from a tiny slice of the reported news and use short-term, self aggrandizing logic. Your economy bad? It must be

No, in your example you said that you had to admit that the good you find in child abusers is that some have repented of their crimes and turned over a new leaf. I said, by that logic, I'll be able to find the positive in Dems when they turn over a new leaf and cast off their Democratness...

"Perhaps, but, for example. I don't like child abusers, but i still admit that there are some that have paid for their crimes; they've both strived to help children not be abused, and have turned for the better. I, personally, always look for the good in things, no matter how i feel." So by that logic when Democrats repent and are reformed, I can

"Suggestion: Instead of blasting the trumpet of what they've done wrong, why not talk about what they have done right, or have started to do, that is positive." I can't answer for KFC, but I'd have to guess when you don't like people, and you don't want them to win elections, you probably won't want to go around singing their laurels.

You're going to vote Dem in the primaries Doc? I don't believe he has any intention of winning. Richardson is a pal of the Clintons. Expect him to shift hard against Obama to split his vote clearing a path for Hillary.

"The choice to not follow the invasion plan, not to follow established doctrine or the advice of the Army CoS and send the 500,000 troops was Bush. When Bremer got to Iraq and saw that the troop levels were not enough to control the growing violence and he asked Bush for more troops. Bush DID NOT send them." I can't discuss this with someone that

I see I was wrong. I would suggest before you start debating things you learn of which you speak. Bremer and others in the green zone were makin

I don't give a rat's ass about what excuse was used for this war. I don't care if Dubya got up one morning and said "I just HATE that Hussein guy". The problem with this war isn't why it was fought, it was how it was fought, and even more so how the reconstruction was handled. Period. The Col has far, far more ammunition in the green zone instead of the White House. The decisions made after "mission accomplished" border on the criminal. If I had to give any advice to the anti-Bush

"I know you'll debate that, though.....it's just your way." Nope, no more than I'd debate a scientologist about the existence of Xenu. When people don't base their perspectives on reality, you can't very well debate against the little world they keep in their minds. It's real to them, even if it isn't real. When you said: <TAB
