I guess they feel Obama is a bigger threat in 2008 than Hillary. I don't. No doubt one of her underlings would fall on their sword, but so far all the divisions in the Dem party are ones that will help Hillary, imho. This could be something that might actually even the playing field. Surely they didn't just lie about it. Maybe they'll be challenged to do more.

Anyone have a link to the Hillary part in more detail? Everywhere else on the Internet is spouting it as either a 2006 email effort or FoxNews' coverage of it . The part that annoys me most is that Insight magazine only spends a few sentences talking about the Hillary side, and spends the rest talking about Obama. Yeah, I think you can be a good Christian and be a Democrat, especially if you aren't an overly dogmatic Christian. I think most Christians who are Dems are so in spite of a lot of the policy they produce, though. They just seem to value the "helping the poor" song-and-dance more than they loathe the other aspects of Dem moral bankruptcy.

I think the way people are talking about it also assumes that Madrassa=Radical. There are Christian schools that are wacko fundamentalist, and then there are Christian schools that you can barely differentiate from secular public schools. Given the age he would have been at the time, I don't think you would have seen the kind of radicalism you might find now, especially in Indonesia.
